Why did God not get mad when Abraham laughed as he was telling him that he was going to have loads of descendants at his old age. But when Sarai laughed God rebuked her.

Do you not think it unfair that God sent all those plagues to the Egyptians? He said Himself that He was going to harden pharaohs heart.
Is that not power play? hardening pharaohs' heart to ignore Moses, then when pharaoh does not do as what God says. God punishes him. why? why punish him when He was the one who hardened his heart in the first place.
Also if you were Moses how would you feel towards pharaoh at the point where God kills all the first born males of the Egyptians. Why do that when the guy is only saying "NO" because God has made it like that.
Then mark the day as a day to be celebrated by the Israelites. Surely there was a better way to get his chosen people out of Egypt AND still proclaim his mightiness WITHOUT having to cause DELIBERATE suffering.

okay better yet can you admit that you DONT know god DOESNT exist? Ive already asked the christians if they can admit they dont know god exists but rather believe he does. I mean there is no proof that he does or doesnt as otherwise if there was, then people would be in denial.

and so far none of them have admited that they believe and not know. so can you admit that you believe he doesnt exist, or are you as stubborn as they are? I mean some of you do criticize them for believing things that cant be proven, but then the same would apply to you for believing that something isnt true cause it cant be proven.

I just came in from working hard manual labor for 8 hours (44 hours for the week) ... and I prayed, "Thank you God for creating us, and thanks for sending Jesus to teach us how to be good neighbors in Heaven".

(God also sent us other folks to teach us how to be good neighbors, but I mainly just thank Jesus for teaching me/us.)

Ok so everytime I talk 2 my friend about her religion,she tries 2 get off subject but here a her religions beliefs....

she can't wear makeup
she can't eat pepperoni
she can't go out w/ anybody exept for someone f/ her church

and this is what her church does

they fast,they have a 1 week trip 2 florida and
her pastor said that they were the only ones going 2 heaven.

I think by bffs religion is a cult religion.
does it sound like it?
and why would she have a reason 2 b ashamed of it?

I was awakened a week or so ago out of dead sleep by a demonic presence that felt like it was lying in bed behind me, right next to my ear, with a knife held to me....I was paralyzed in my body..it was so strong it felt like someone was really there...but I knew no one was. All I could say was "Jesus" over and over, and finally the presence 'let go of me' and went away.

I heard on the radio earlier today that in some radio stations in America whenever John Lennon's anthem to world peace 'Imagine' is played the line 'and no religion too' is either digitally removed or replaced with 'and one religion too'.

Blacks are the descendants of Ham, right?
Jews and other Arabs are from the rest of Noah's family.

Where did whites, asians, indians, etc come from? Is 4500 years enough to account for the extreme racial diversity in the world? Did God go around just "marking" random people not mentioned in the Bible?

I'm a 16 year old girl, yet I'm quite amazed by all this new technology, and frankly, I don't like it.

I hate the music of today. I like 50's, 60's 70's and some 80's music.
Frankie Valli, Dion and the Belmonts, Amazing!
Sabbath, Deep Purple, Dean Martin, etc. All the great stuff.
I hate all the techno ****, and the "rock" of today.

I don't like the look of the cars today, I love 50's and 70's American cars mainly. One of my favorites being the '57 Chevy. The 50's cars were made with detail and made to last.

I don't like that people don't wear hats with suits anymore.
I like the clothes of 50's (men), 60's (both sexes) and 70's (both!)

Just think of the movie A Bronx Tale. Thats where I wanna be.
Sure thats been glamourised and everything but I just think I'd like it better than today.
Kids have no respect for anything anymore. Young people don't know any manners. Wheres 'ladies first' gone? Everything like that!
Everybody needs to be entertained these days!

There is a lady in my local area who was asked to leave a store at the mall recently b/c she was breast feeding her year-old son. From her own version of the story, she did not have a blanket covering her and she sat down on a bench in the back of the store and proceeded to feed. An employee asked her (rudely) to leave and called mall security. They filled out an incident report.
Now, this lady believes that her civil rights have been violated. All she was doing was "taking care of her child". She has a lawyer and wants to get a law passed that requires store employees to know and understand guidelines that allow mothers to breast feed in public.
Keep in mind that our mall has a designated family area with plush chairs, a microwave, a play area and other ammenities for families to relax and take care of such business, so it's not like she didn't have anywhere else to go.
What do you guys think about this situation or public breast feeding in general??
