I've been inside:
Laie, Hawaii
Provo, Utah
Mt. Timpanogas, Utah
Bountiful, Utah
Manti, Utah
São Paulo, Brazil
I visited the grounds of:
Salt Lake City, Utah
Jordan River, Utah
Oakland, California
The Laie Hawaii Temple will always hold a special placein my heart. That's where I first did baptisms for the dead, plus it's where I received my own endowment. I also enjoy the stories about its construction, and the miracles of WWII.

Sounds like a great combo vacation! Hope you both have a great time.
I was sealed to my parents and received my Endowments in the Salt Lake Temple. The only other Temple I've attended was the Provo Temple.
I've been to the grounds of the St. George, Manti, Logan, Idaho Falls, Alberta, Mesa, Los Angeles, Manhattan and Washington, DC.
I will always have fond memories of the Salt Lake Temple.

LDS Temples I've been inside (in order):
Los Angeles, CA-- baptisms
Redlands, CA-- open house
Ogden, UT-- baptisms
Newport Beach, UT-- my own endowment
Salt Lake, UT-- marriage
Jordan River, UT-- endowments
Portland, OR-- endowments
My favorite temples are Los Angeles and Salt Lake.
Los Angeles is the one I feel the most "at home" with. It's the one I grew up visiting, so it holds a lot of child-like memories for me. It's also a very beautiful temple, and the one I always imagined myself getting married in.
Salt Lake has recently been a new favorite of mine. It's where my husband and I visited on our second date, and where he proposed to me and married me. The Salt Lake Temple holds a very special place in my heart.
I'm planning on visiting more temples in the USA, too! I would first like to visit all the ones in Utah, then move on out from there. I think it will be fun.

Basically, I try to visit the temple in every city I visit... I've missed a couple, but I've managed to see most of them.
I probably liked St George the best, because it was the first one completed under the new format (Kirtland and Nauvoo were both VERY different in terms of function and design), but it's still a lot like the original ones in that it has a lot of the Masonic eternal symbols in the stone... the all-seeing eye, the compas/square diagram, some acronyms, the upside-down goathead stars, etc. It's gorgeous, and very interesting.
SLC and Portland also have a lot of these same symbols, but SLC has fewer of them (except the stars; lots of those), and I haven't actually been to the Portland one yet. I love learning the symbolism of these elements... I haven't had the time to study it all out yet, but it's fascinating to say the least.

I cannot match many of the other responses and their visits, but I received my endowment at the Dallas, Texas, temple and have been attending the Baton Rouge temple since then. I no longer travel as I did in the past and have no desire to do so. Therefore, the temple in Baton Rouge, a four-hour trip one-way, is sufficient for me to do the work.

whilst one visits a temple and engages the innovations on the deity, his innovations and soul are at peace. an elementary easy saatwik (tranquil) feeling. whilst one visits a graveyard, unexpectedly it dawns on him that some day he's likewise going to relax right here at 'peace'. The marvel or reconciliation, popping out of this, is so efficient that renders everybody speechless and there consequences a non violent introspection a minimal of quickly!
