Some of the pearls of wisdom I have seen on YA include:
Poor people don't have jobs.
Poor people watch television all day
Poor people have Sky/Cable
Poor people mug each other (to pay for Sky??)
The mind boggles.

Aussie, I live in a council estate, do not have Sky, and wouldn't want it. I work and don't spend all day in front of the telly. And I would never dream of getting a tattoo.

because like blacks, the poor are an easily identifiable sector of the community... something to entertain the middle classes.
im in a wheelchair on benefit, and heres some of my observations... the middle classes are more likeley to lose their job, thier marriages will fail, their children become part of a dependency culture, sponging off mum and dad...
the middle classes are merely working class people who get paid monthly and have a disproportionately high level of personal debt.
they holiday inthe seychelles, because the smiths at 76 did it... when you cant actually afford a weekend in blackpool.
you turn to alcohol and prescription drugs to get thru the day... one pill to make work hard, one pill to stop teh fall, and one pill that the doctor gives you dont anything at all..
you read the daily mail and worry about percieved levels of crim ein your area, despite the actual level of crime dropping..
you view all the refugees and immigrants withth e same eyes you use to judge drug addicts and paedophiles..
your wives will shoplift in sainsburys, and have casual affairs with tradesmen callers... because one of you is always working, and the other is left home alone and bored...

so, a whole lot of middle class surburbia hasnt got a job either
they get drunk on cheap sherry and pop anti depressants all day. they too have sky, the full movie and sport package, plus a dolby 5.1 surround sound AVI system, and they steal, tell lies and embezzle money to support their lavish lifestyles...and they fiddle their tax returns...
so, if the comments are accurate for the poor, are they equally accurate for hte middle classes... who arent... being a bank manager was middle class, working in the bank isnt...

both mothers and fathers and instructors. possibly also leisure. (television radio internet) I taught for 11 years in Pittsburgh's inner city elemtary faculties formerly I again to varsity. mothers and fathers and grandparents, uncles, cousins and many different kin quite mess childrens up. I had a woman shot because her older kin might want to were taken with a gang having a conflict with yet another gang. They shot top via the door and partitions and killed this little chance free woman i have seen effectual and ineffective instructors. i have seen when we were provided that invoice Gates funds that performance checks do not idscern wisely between sturdy and undesirable instructors. a sturdy instructor replaced into in all probability to get a foul evaluate and a lemon a passable evaluate. They have no compassion. I've seen young mothers who need kidney and pancreas transplants on welfare. They can't work.
I've seen people so riddled with pain that no one would hire them.
I've seen diabetics almost blind with amputated limbs that cannot work.
How can a mother with 3 children work? Her entire salary would go for child care.
Regardless of what the people say who have no compassion for other people there are people who cannot work and need help. Thank God compassionate people care enough to support them.
There are always the few who cheat the program and there is nothing you can do about them except report fraud if you see it. Do not make life any more difficult on those who truly need our help. We have people who are truly suffering and need help.

Our neighbour geeked of the otherday using the fact she works blah blah..... we have sold our house to defend our son lived homeless and been let down by authorities leading to us being poor and taking care of our son.
She was so wrong about us being lazy etc and that hurt.
luckly the 60,000 we lost was worth every penny

they're idiots. even IF the poor people can afford a tv and an outlet to plug it in, they wouldn't be lazy, that would just make them more poor. and why would a poor person mug another poor person? it's not like they're any better off. plus why would they waste their money on cable? stupid stupid stupid pearls of wisdom-tards.

Every council estate or towerblock you see, 80% of the homes will have a Sky dish. Mainly because they sit on their arses all day watching TV, scrounging, and saving up for their next tattoo while the taxpayer looks after them.

Sounds like they know some pretty well off poor people.
Also sounds like rich kids have nothing to do either.
If I were rich my kids would have to work because it would make them better people.
