Tiger Woods comes for the period of rather delusional, he reminds me of a woman in a e book referred to as, The bluest eye, via Toni Morrison. Tiger Woods is obviously a black guy. no remember what else he claims to be, his black genes are maximum well known.

FIRST OFF, MOST BLACKS ARE PART AMERICAN "INDIAN," secondly, ALL BLACKS are mixed. So, even if Tiger weren't mixed with Thai, he'd still be a mixed Black person.
And guess what I'm part Caucasian and part American "Indian." Most Black people are. His dad is Black, simple as that. When you see Tiger you don't say, hey look at that Asian man; you simply know that he's mixed with Asian, but say, look at that Black man.
LOL, if it was such a "lame answer," why'd you respond? Apparently it must've struck a chord with you somewhere. BTW your punctuation is off.
You only use single quotation marks or speech marks when it's a quote within a quote; as far as I can tell there isn't any narration going on. Also, your punctuation goes inside the speech mark, not outside.
So you equate intelligence with visual representation? Who's the simpleton again?

What the hell are you talking about blacks claiming Tiger Woods? Who gives a sh*t.. The only people I claim is my immediate family, like my children... Could you get educated and not put all black people in the same catagory.. We are all different, why do you people not realize that everyone is individuals, even if we are all black we are not the same.. Damn!!!!

That would be because of the "one-drop policy" the United States had as a way of determining who would be slaves. Since then, anyone with any traceable black ancestors is considered black.

LOL @ crisscrosschrist. i remember that epsisode! um....gee doesnt the "one drop theory" come into effect on this question? And yeah the avatar above me is correct. i remember fuzzy zoeller. i never heard tiger woods say that he "wasn't" black. he just gave himself a weird name that combined all of this things he was mixed with. i have nothing against him. i dont like golf, and im happy for him and his family.

Who said black people try to claim Tiger Woods? Most people could care less about his race, he is a great role model for everyone. Secondly, Tiger Woods identify himself by his own choice as a black man because of the discrimination he faced, nobody is forcing him. Why is it when someone is biracial and successful some people want to break down their heritage and say they aren't black? Seems like you want to claim him to me.

You asume that all black people want to "claim" Tiger Woods when I could really care less what he calls himself. Hmm seems to go against your theory doesn't it? Don't generalize and maybe you'll get nicer answers.

You are confusing us who do not live in the United States. We were told Hilary Banks from the "Fresh Prince of BelAir" was/is black. Colin Powell I heard was black. These people could easily be mistaken for another ethnic group, but Tiger Woods? The guy looks like black to me. What exactly is going on in your society?

He's good at sports, he's faced discrimination, & he married a White woman. That sounds like a black guy to me.
