I like "Hypnotize."

In Revelation 20:12 it says, "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books."

Obviously, "The Book of Life" is opened, but what about the other books that are opened, is the "Lamb's Book of Life" one of them?

I'll share what I think later.

First some history. I went to talk to this prof, say prof x, about aNOTHER prof I had some trouble with. Prof X is the head of the department. He basically denied my case but I was persistant. He recommended that I stop, but I kept going, went to his superior who agreed with me (eventually) so I 'won' the issue.
Now, this prof X is teaching a class I"m in. Today in class, I raised my hand to ask a Q. He looked right at me for several seconds, and then kept going. So before he changed slides I said "I have a question..." and i asked. His answer to me, in this class of over 200 people was, "well, you could see it that way, but it depends on how anal you want to be."
Was he calling me anal? Does he dislike me?

It's a shame that we as Americans still can't find common ground even in the face of post 9/11 and the current war on terror. What are your thoughts? My thoughts? I'm way beyound sick of racism.

Many Ancient Indian tribes have prophetic visions that are similar from the Bible...I don't propose to be Prophet Crimson but I think the research will tell us that the the symbolic Book of Revelations lines up with Ancient Indian Prophecy.
Mohawk Prophecy of the Seventh Generation
According to the prophecy of the Seventh Generation, seven generations after contact with the Europeans the Onkwehonwe would see the day when the elm trees would die..And man would grow ashamed of the way that he had treated his Mother and Provider, the Earth.
Finally, according to this prophecy, after seven generations of living in close contact with the Europeans, the Onkwehonwe would rise up and demand that their rights and stewardship over the Earth be respected and restored.

Does anyone have a reasonable guess?

For example, I have a friend that tells everyone she's Catholic, because her family is, she went to church a lot growing up, catholic school, etc. The other day we talked about it and she said she really doesn't believe in God. Why is she telling everyone she's Catholic then?

I personally would rather NOT see:

1) an official looking notification in the mail to show up for jury duty
2) some guy's hairy buttcrack hanging out the back of his chair staring me in the face at a restaurant while I'm trying to eat my dinner
3) a closed sign on the one bathroom at my end of the mall

I'm interested if there was a point in time when reading the words became something deeper. You know, the bible says that the word of God is living and active. I can remember at time when it really penetrated by heart that what I was reading was the living word of God. Would anyone like to share a time when they discovered this as well?

Snide answers are not welcome, and will be reported.

Lily S. 11 years Old.

Hi everyone.

Future? It scares me so much but it fascinates me in such a sick twisted way. What will we be like, who will we marry, how will are lives turn out, what will the world be like... I mean all of use in our own way want to grasp the future but we too want to keep a firm grip on the present. Before we know it, it will be 2015. Change? Yes of course, flying cars, robots? I have no clue but we all want to know. I want to know what do you think about the future? I mean this is our childhood and before we know it we'll be married or with our own children. I mean what ever choice we make, makes an impact, an imprint on our future. What road will we take? A dark twisted one with a sinking hurisine? Or a beautfiul magestic skylight road?
Will we ever know these answers? Proabally not but they seem to be running through my mind these couple of sunless days.

Some double standards I have found, can you explain...
Q#1 Adam and Eve =Incest, gross, inbred...
but if all life came from a single cell, wouldn't that = incest?
Q#2 Evolution is evidence of non-intelligent creation
Don't scientist still say that they still aren't sure exactly how life started on Earth ["we don't know (we can't prove it), but we're pretty sure"]?
Q#3 Embryo's are just a clump of cells
What are humans? (ok this one isnt really part of the whole subject, but every time I see this answer, this thought comes up)
Q#4 If cells can just form under the right conditions, why not grow stem cells from nothing?

I'm not trying to start an argument here, these are just some things I wonder about...If you have the answers...please share.
I'm on the fence when it comes to creation of life...Logic tells me to go with what science speculates, but I believe in God which tells me through him anything is possible...

My birthday was a couple weeks ago and a couple days ago, I received a package from San Francisco Music Company with a music box inside. I didn't order anything, never have from them. I have a feeling a friend of mine might have ordered it online and had it shipped to me for my birthday because she has sent me something from them before (that had no name on it either). My question is, how do I go about finding out who sent it? I feel it's presumptuous to ask this friend if she sent me something (what if she didn't? then, she could feel bad for not getting me anything, etc.) and I wouln't want to put her on the spot like that. However, I want to thank the person who sent it, too.
