I just came in from working hard manual labor for 8 hours (44 hours for the week) ... and I prayed, "Thank you God for creating us, and thanks for sending Jesus to teach us how to be good neighbors in Heaven".
(God also sent us other folks to teach us how to be good neighbors, but I mainly just thank Jesus for teaching me/us.)

Dear "Hone" -- I love your humor. (God needs that type of humor in Heaven, and Earth too, I would imagine. See you there, -smiles.)

Absolutely nothing. Thanks for sharing. I have a favorite prayer that usually gets thumbs down when I share it, but it means a lot to me because my English grandfather taught it to me. It goes as follows: From ghosties and ghoulies and long-legged beasties and things that go bump in the night; good Lord, deliver us. His father taught it to him. I guess it's an old Scottish prayer.

not only in Heaven, but here on earth also. even when our neighbors are unlovely we should still be good neighbors to them.
at 64 also I have decided to stop with the hard manual labor, although I still put in over 40 hours every week, and always try to be the best employee that I can be, My body is telling me to spend more time with friends and family, not necessarily in that order, even though right now most of my friends are where I work.
most of my favorite people are right here.
beautiful prayer, you have a good heart.

We all work for the same Boss and He is blessed by all your labors.
Thank You God for my friend who faithfully serves You in the very field in which You have placed him. I pray that You would continue to bless and encourage him all the days of his life. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. In Jesus mighty name I pray. AMEN
Keep on sowing the seed my brother and know that some is falling on good ground. May God bring the increase.
Blessings in abundance!

Nothing in the world wrong with sharing. I feel blessed! I just know we better bask in the glow quickly, because this is not the type of question that lasts long. I want to thank Him for you being an instrument of unity, not division.

What a pure beautiful heart you have, Uncle. That is a beautiful humble prayer. It is good to appreciate good neighbors. Wait! Are these the neighbors that blasted you with their bomb box? lol That would be good of you to thank the Lord for them.

Matthew 6:1-4
Pure-hearted Giving
6:1 “Be 1 careful not to display your righteousness merely to be seen by people. 2 Otherwise you have no reward with your Father in heaven. 6:2 Thus whenever you do charitable giving, 3 do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in synagogues 4 and on streets so that people will praise them. I tell you the truth, 5 they have their reward. 6:3 But when you do your giving, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 6:4 so that your gift may be in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.
(Matthew 6:5-8).
"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him"

Thanking God for giving you the strength to work long hard hours is GREAT.... thanks for reminding me and others of that fact...... People tend to forget to thank God for the daily things and keep it all for what they call the special blessings, me included....... I am blessed by this, sending out blessings is what it is all about, the world needs daily prayer...... go in peace.... God bless

Dear ((((((My favourite Uncle))))))
Thank you for sharing. There isn't anytthing at all wrong with sharing a prayer. How can we hope to grow our personal relationships if we don't speak to each other or thank each other now and then - I ask!
blessings to you - how is the wall coming along?
