Human trafficking is the number 2 crime in the United Staes taking second only to Drug Trafficking. It seems like people want to do all they can to end it because not only has it affected minorities... now it has hit Florida and the White neighborhoods. Now everyone wants to do something about it.
I say... too little too late. Where were all these goodwill seeking people when Slavery was going on in the 17 through 1800's? What made it so acceptable then and such an attrocity now? Funny how when issues that affect certain groups of people hit White America... they want to get in an uproar and demand justice. Where was all the urgency when it was legal to own people? I say... what you put out... you get back. I may be flagged but I just had to throw this bone out there.

If I am going to believe in a savior, then I would like to be introduced and meet this savior in person. I would like to see where he was mortally wounded and miraculously healed. I would like to hear him tell me his own story in his own words. I would like to know what this savior has been doing with himself since supposedly floating away on a cloud after his resurrection. Not only that, if their savior is the one true God then it should be no problem for their savior to appear seemingly by magic, like a genie, to anyone anywhere, at any time. Well????

I've seen somewhere "J'en ai rêvé".
I think it means "I dreamed about it".

Is it also correct to say "Je l'ai rêvé?"

I'm a Christian and I'm part of my youth group leadership at my church. I feel horrible because I smoke, and I'm suppose to help my church. I'm supposed to be a role model, but I don't know how I can be one if I have a habit like this. According to a report I read on Yahoo! News, a woman was verbally and physically attacked for being gay. (read the report here - http://tv.yahoo.com/show/38481/news/urn:newsml:tv.ap.org:20070912:top_chef_beating__ER )

Now my question is, how do you feel about this? How do you think the people attacking Josie Smith-Malave should be delt with? Would you considder this a hate crime? And if you were there when someone was being attacked for being gay, would you step in and defend them?

I would defend them, because there is no need for this. I think the attackers should be treated the same way others would if they were attacking someone for their race. Everyone has their own lifestyles to live, and it is not your place to step in on SOMEONE ELSE'S life and try to do something about it. If it doesn't concern you, don't bother. What do the Christians actually want? Power and the obedience of others? Total control over others?
What tangible actions do they want to occur so that they will be pleased and stop persecuting people?
What is with the constant disapproval of almost every action and the pointing out of "sins"?
Are they really upset that people are committing "sins"? Is this to say that if people stopped "sinning", the Christians would be happy? Or is it more than that?
