God has shown me very clearly that it is his perfect will that every one of his children be physically healed. It is a blessing which the Lord Jesus has already paid for; just as He paid for our salvation by the shedding of his blood. Jesus has been teaching me on this subject for several years. I am now at a point where I need to join a new church. I have been visiting a particular church for quite some time. However, when I asked the pastor if he believed that it was God's perfect will to heal us all, He told me that if this were so, He told me that if it were so, then Jesus would not of had to go to the cross; which makes no sense at all to me, concerning this matter. For Jesus going to the cross had nothing whatsoever to do with us being physically healed. The pastor seems to deliberately avoid ever teaching about this particular matter. I believe that Jesus has already paid the cost for our physical healing. Do you believe that I should go ahead and join this church, or move on?

1. Saves all the time on housework (I still have to worry about my 7 AM office deadline)
2. Saves quite a lot of money amidst skyrocketing prices
3. Allows you to keep your obnoxious wife in check (she'll constantly have to feel jealous about a slave-woman at home)

I'm not arguing the racial/ethical dimensions just thoughts if it were legal today I would surely go for one. I would be also in favor of legislation that would allow slaves to change their owner in lieu of abuse/exploitation and not get away with crimes such as rape/murder etc.

Slavery could be used to benefit all the homeless, unemployed and good-for-nothings to become more valuabe members of society and wouldn't carry as much of a degraded status.

They would be just like other workers with same legal rights except for earning money from their labour.

This person is a colleague of mine and I can't just avoid her. But every time I'm around her, she makes jokes about my physical appearance, criticizes everything I do, insults me at every turn, and orders me around like I am her slave. I have asked her repeatedly to stop and she just laughs and does nothing. Ignoring her doesn't work either. I can't tell the boss because they are best buds. These days women are trying more and more to become equal with men, yet this strange 'manners' still apply. Such as holding the door open for women or not being able to hit a woman because she is a woman (among friends). Do you think everyone should be exactly equal? Socially, Ethically and ecnomically?

gods of? For exampleI rarely associate Thor with thunder. I see the qualities he brings, but not the "mythological" interpretation of him. I always find it sort of funny when some one says the gods "explain nature". I never think of them in those terms. Anyone else do this?

i hated it, i never fitted in i even think maybe i was smelly

i was chosen last at sports

i walked to school and back on my own

whan i look back nobody wanted to sit with me at lunch i always butted into their groups

i really feel sorry for kids going to school it is not a nice place to be really
