I'm interested in and am doing research on Icelandic youth, street and college slang for a project I'm working on.

I'd like to know:

Can "hörku kona" or "hörku kvendi"
"Hörð stelpa", "Hörð stulka" and "Hörð tata" be used like slang, and can I use an expression like, "Hörku Beygla", or "Hörð Beygla"? Beygla I know is an Icelandic slang for a woman/girl.

Are "queen", "princess" and "diva" terms people use for a respectible female?

Are there any slangs for a "girl rascal" and "girl rogue"?

Please let me know. :D

Women rank right up there with cattle, donkeys, and sheep. And they have to be virgins, at that! Imagine a righteous and perfect God wanting 32 virgins to be set aside for himself!

Isaiah 49:26 says, "I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will be drunk on their own blood, as with wine...." And in John 6:53-54 Jesus says, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

Are they the same? Some people tell me they're 2 different religions, but I heard that Catholicsm as well as Baptists, etc. or ANY follower of Christ is considered a Christian.

Hi all
i have a question - i'm a crossdresser in my late 20s from the UK and i really want to go public dressed as a woman. I've ventured outside later at night when its dark and i dress up as often as i can - usually in a dark skirt suit or dark dress, kitten heels, dark stockings and full make up with a wig but i really want to do it during the day! I don't really want to go to any bars or out clubbing, i just would like to venture out in public and see what happens. I live in an apartment block (only a few apartments) so getting out might be tough though! I don't know what i can do to solve this problem.

This question is directed primarily at Christians.

Would you consider reading tarot cards a sin? Why and why not?

Now, I know some people are going to answer that it is a sin because the Bible forbids sorcery and divination. So, instead of answering in that direction, what if they're used simply as a guide to learning more about yourself?

What if they're simply used as a tool to search the unconscious mind or bring out things you may have never thought of before? Is reading them still a sin in that case, as it becomes less divination and more self-reflection?

I live in a painfully small town where the only recreation is to eat at the latest restaurant that opened in town. It's a farming community where there is really no industry. the majority of the jobs are food service and retail. The only thing to look forward to is the annual fairs that come into town, oh and the circus. At night, the only recreation is to go one of local bars and get plastered. I've been led to believe by some people I've talked to over the years that this is considered a "nice, safe, and quiet" life. But, it also strikes me as boring. I'm not saying that I would prefer a hectic, noisy, dangerous big city. But it would be nice to see some diversity in how people live their lives. Not everyone wants to live a life of PTA meetings, soccer games, and backyard barbecues. Am I being naive or does anyone share this opinion?

They are very similar. Both the Bible and Quran tell them to stone people. Both can be extremely intolerant....ironically towards eachother. Both enjoy condemning people who are not of their faith and don't see how dangerous it is to have that "belief". Both view eachother as terrorists, terrorizing their country. Both think everyone in the world should convert to their beliefs. Both have messengers who i think are half brothers or possibly distant cousins. If they are family, its no wonder they can't stand each other.

Are they basically the same kind of people, possibly related?
