Which religion should I be? Catholic, Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, etc. This is what I was raised in believing, & many people tell me it's a cult. http://www.idmr.net

Read the Gospels and learn about Christ and pray for him to take control of your life. A lot of problems have occurred in certain churches which have put people of but that's down to men not God . Ignore the childish insults of certain Atheists they love to pick on the mistakes of some churches and try to paint a picture of the faith which is far from the truth. The most important thing is your relationship with God through Jesus repent of your sin and turn to him and ask for guidance on the issue of Church . God Bless

You should be whatever you feel is right for you, do some research. And fyi, all religions have hypocrites, and all have been called a cult at some point. Good luck, a spiritual journey is one that you need to make by yourself!

Since Jesus is the only way to God and Heaven, you should pray the sinner's prayer and give your life to Him.

Many people post similar questions , and it sounds like they are going out to buy a car or a new dress.

The question that you should be asking is , what do 'I' have to do to please God.?
To please God we have to follow him and worship him according to what he wants.
We follow 'his' will , not he follow ours.
Now there are many religions out there ,and most have contradictory teachings , .. Why is this and which one pleases God.?
Satan is Jehovah Gods enemy and he desires mostly to deceive people and turn them away from the true God.
One way is by obscuring the correct choice, by offering so many choices.
To Satan , he doesn't care which religion you choose as long as it is false.
Yes this world is under the power of Satan , and ALL religions except one is false , full of lies ,and is not the way to please God.
What you must first do is pray to God for guidance in this matter , then read the Bible.
Perhaps even write a list of all of the religions and tick them off one by one when you see that they do not follow God.
How do we know if they follow God ?
By examining their teachings. !
Do they support human governments or some political party ?
Do they support wars or fighting in any way.?
Do they promote the Messianic Kingdom under Christ as the only way for mankind?
Do they teach un-Godly pagan teachings . like the trinity or Hellfire?
These are just a start of what things you should examine.

don't do anything that desperate just live a good kind life for the love of others and reap the rewards of worthy value.
