As a christian with faith Jesus Christ as my lord and savior, I believe interfaith dialog is impossible because of one person
and that is Jesus Christ. Does anyone agree?

On Saturday evening the little girl next door called me to ask if I was going to see the carnival in town. I told her no cos we were going out somewhere else.
She wanted to know where? and rather than explain to a 6 year old I told her the pub!
Her reply. I 'pose you are gonna get drunk then, like my mum does!
My question is. Don't little kids always let their parents down with innocent words?

God gives us "acts of God" which include hurricanes like hurricane Katrina... tsunomies like that which devastated Asia... Floods including that which killed thousands in India and China and all the other various acts like trees and coconuts falling down and killing us

Satan has his demons who tempt us to lift some girls dress up and take a peek and the various demonic possessions although I do think born again christians just can't hack the real world and blame that on Satan

If we discover life in another galaxy, would god be there too, or would he just be here on earth? I mean he doesn't really talk about the nebulas and other solar systems much in the bible, did he forget to mention them, or is there another god for the other areas of the universe?

What does everybody think?

Is God something that will take action and do something if you disobey him? or do you think he will forgive us? because we are only human and we are born sinners so we all make mistakes.

Why does God exist? Most people will say he has always existed so that is an invalid question (my question).

This shows a lack of understanding of the nature of time but I'll ignore that for simplicity.

Anyways if I asked you what caused God and you say he always existed you are implying that nothing caused God, right? Is this what you believe? He exists just because he happens to exist? What is your take on it? Just curious if there are Christians with better answers than the normal...

It is a known fact that public schools in general will undermine the faith, morals and ethics you teach your children. They will leave school despising you and rejecting everything you stand for and taught them. This is not normal or natural, except in this generation. We are creating a generation of animals and we are to blame. Why do you not take the raising of children more seriously?

believers of God and Allah and Jesus are so willing to to believe that the unbelievable is likely to happen at any second, but I wonder if they have any idea about how many seconds they've seen pass by without a hint that they're beliefs have failed to be true.

If you look at time in seconds, it isn't hard to see that God-believers are wasting their time... seconds turn into minutes and minutes into days into weeks and years into lifetimes. Do you all realize that one billion seconds ago it was 1959? Do you all understand that a billion minutes ago it was the Biblical era, and do see how a billion days ago would take us into the beginnings of our evolutionary roots ... about a billion months ago?

That's a lot of time to be given up on nothing. Think about it.!

I've read through the new guidelines, and yes I know it says no chatting. I wish this rule was made a bit clearer.
Last week a couple of people suggested I was using seniors page as my own personal blog. ( which I don't think I was)
It has a feature to add details, so if someone made a comment, I added details to interact with them.

So my question is: Do you think yahoo do class replying in added details as chat cos loads of people seem to do it and they don't get their q's removed?

Please don't any one report this q as a rant, I'm just trying to understand the rules.
