If we discover life in another galaxy, would god be there too, or would he just be here on earth? I mean he doesn't really talk about the nebulas and other solar systems much in the bible, did he forget to mention them, or is there another god for the other areas of the universe?

Yeah that's where he goes to play with the other gods, and to share all our funny stories.

The "God"(s) of this planet ( The Jewish Messiah , The Christian Jesus , The Islamic Allah , The Greek Gods ,etc. - 1000's of them ) were all created by the people of this planet as theories to explain the things that were ( and in many cases still are ) scientifically unexplainable . It is likely that the intelligent life forms on other planets have made up similar "Gods" and stories to explain what they don't understand . The reason that the Bible doesn't talk about other galaxies , nebulas , and dimensions is that that knowledge did not exist at the time men were creating the Bible . This is why the Catholic Church freaked out when men of science started to publish information about the universe such as that the Earth wasn't the physical center of the universe , and that "man" evolved from monkeys .

Considering that every creation myth - including the Big Bang - hangs on the idea that *something* had to start everything and then (duh) forgets that if you're going to create a rule that says something had to start some other thing then the question MUST be asked: What started the first thing? From there, the chain of "prime movers" or "prime events" become an infinite paradox of repeated questions that never really get an answer. It would be a lot easier to say that the universe has always been here and always will be and that if there are really boundaries, then we ADMIT we don't know of them and that what we *can* observe is potentially a relatively infinitesimally small event in an infinite space.

For example, if God is the "prime mover" then in what did God exist before existence?

The same bothersome question occurs here, but in a different format. Is there just one God or are there many gods? And where did they come from?

I hope life-forms in other galaxies prove to be more sensible in having a God-free society than humans. One thing is for SURE and that is,with the attributes assigned to God in all the religions, there can't be more than one God.Otherwise, there would have been so many Godly Wars so far.The absence of any such wars suggests either a singe entityof a God-thing or it's nonexistence.

First off, there are not hundreds of Gods. There is one. However, this God has three forms. The human form, Jesus, is in heaven, along with the Father form, whom we refer to as God but whose name is Yahweh. As for the holy spirit form, he lives within the heart.

There isn't a God per galaxy. God created everything, the universe included. Therefore, he is THE God.

The Lord, God Almighty is omnipresent. If it should happen that life were discovered elsewhere, it wouldn't rock my faith at all. Simply because I believe that we would all be children of God.

Stepping away from religion for the moment and into my science degree, I also believe that we would be mighty arrogant to assume that the Lord has not created life elsewhere in the vastness of other solar systems.

That would be placing ourselves as "special", which is pride-the opposite of humility which the Lord desires.

In His Love,

GOD is present everywhere. He is always watching and taking care of every1. Since GOD made the universe including galaxies it means that he is also there.
Imagine this as a building model kept on a table, the way u can watch it with ease just like that GOD can watch every1 with ease.
There is only 1 GOD and he is the ALPHA and OMEGA (the Beggining and the End)
In the Bible Universe is mentiones a lot it is not that GOD forgot it is just that u did not do ur homework. GOD never forgets anything even when we think he has forgotten us and left us alone he is ryte beside us. it is just our probl;em which make us blind to his everlasting, everflowing love.
Best of Luck

What? Have you ever READ the Bible? There are over 100 references to 'the stars.' (Hebrew generally uses the same word for all the little dots of light, whether they be stars, nebulea, or galaxies.

And yes, God is in another galaxy, and in this one too, and all the other places you'd imagine looking, and in many places you WOULDN'T IMAGINE!

god is always thought to be where people like me can't quite look yet. the depths of the forests, the highest mountains, the deepest oceans. the heavens, the center of the earth. beyond the horizon of the universe. where will he retreat to next? i can't wait to find out.
