Yes preaching is a profitable business,Have a look at the
Crystal Palace in the USA and the amount of Christians
who enter its door's,if one person donates a$1.oo and you get 2-3 services a week @ 50,000=150,000 people. At the
end of the year there should be enough in their coffers to
build 2 more churches.
Have you seen any preachers in inexpensive cars or clothes.
So if any one were to say to me that they do not pay for the privilege of Christ ? I would have to call them liars, how else do the churches get their altar wine and bread for
Communion.I am an Ex-Catholic and i know what my old church made in a year,so don't piss in my pocket and tell me its raining ?

They started off as the ones who were 'Saved.'In the course of time they started Saving others and after some more time they forgot others and concentrated on Saving for themselves. We all know that accumulated SAVINGS (with virtually no daily expenses) can make anybody a RICH person. If anybody really understand the Hollowness of 'God-Thing' in this world these are the people,That's why they suffer from no remorse, guilt or feelings of wrong doings and on the contrary, are thriving in life and all the comforts that go with it.Amen.

if there are rich ppl who preach GOD's word then there are also ppl who are very poor and still enjoy preaching.
but yet it is true and very painful of wat ppl have made religion into. Sum ppl have made it a business i know sum of em and dislike wat they are doing but i will not judge em cos it is not my place to judge em for there wrong. While there are other rich ppl who actually use there riches to make the less fortunate happy. If u think religion is a business then plz make it where u serve GOD and use ur riches for the less fortunate and poor ppl who need our help not the greedy ppl. For when u die riches will not be taken with u to heaven but will be here on earth where it will be of no use to u. but helping others will make u feel better in ur heart and give u peace. Dont be a miser share with others just as others sum day will share with u
God Bless U
Best of Luck

It depends on the denomination, as with anything else. The more traditional the denomination, the less of a business it is. In my Church, the priest receives no salary whatsoever. All financial decisions are made by the Parish Council, with everything except the money for building maintenance going to orphanages in Eastern Europe. But my friend knows a youth pastor who makes a six figure salary for organizing glorified pep rallies in the local megachurch.

Nothing comes FREE nowadays. Preaching God's words is service to God. & not business. Religion has it's own contributors & every family is in their faith.
EVERY MAN SHOULD FOLLOW HIS OWN RELIGION

Church Marketing is a BIG business.
[do a bit of simple Googling to verify]
The claim is that it's necessary to be competitive.
In our society there may be merit to the approach.
But there are also the preachers that rake it in [ or take a "respectable salary" and have gigantic expense accounts and luxuries under the guise of "church business"]

Preaching of Gospel is the longing of God who wants every one to be saved. Those who understood Him well will know His desires. Everyday He is longing for souls that souls should not perish

Preaching God's word is an oppurtunity, of which the pastors and ministers give us their time to listen to what we all wish to know, and they get a tribute from us that listen to them, in appreciation of their service.

Telling about God's Word is every Christians' duty once you become saved. Rather or not the are "rich" or getting "rich" is God's business. We just need to do our part to help as many as can see the truth about God.
