Why would physical traits be important?
Isn't it the message that's important?

There have been many prophets of all different religions and cultures throughout the ages.
Most of our pictures of the prophets of the bible were drawn and painted by early worshippers who based their models of religious perfection on the Greek models of physical perfection. Many early artists were comissioned by wealthy patrons to paint religious art for local churches, and the models were often local people in the town. Too many religious works come from Italy, where the models for religious art were the olive-skinned, dark haired Italians of the time period.
That said, there are several current blonde-haired, blue eyed people who profess to be prophets today. Just about any religious cult leader in the past 30 years has been such a person. The leader of the Polygamist sect of the Reformed LDS Church, for example, is a white man claiming to be a prophet. The leader of the Branch Davidians, those people in Texas who were killed in a government raid, their leader was a white man claiming to be a prophet.
The truth is we don't know clearly the true race of the ancient prophets. The people calling themselves the Jews, those who profess to be the chosen people of the bible, have been intermarried with the Egyptians (During their time in Egypt at the time of Moses), the Babylonians every time they were invaded and carried off to Babylon, and who knows who else, as Jerusalem was a major trading and religious center for thousands of years.
A true prophet, by the way, seeks to enlighten, to teach, to instruct, and to preach only the truth without seeking to take away the freedom of choice of anyone else. A true prophet would never instruct his followers to commit acts that go against the teachings of God or violate any of the 10 Commandments. Just FYI.

Yes. He came to me as an Angel wrapped in light. He was the one who got me saved, but turned out to be the one who would kill me if I let him. What a hard lesson or exercise for me. Still friends but always on my guard. He knew more about the Lord and Bible than I did. Until I started studying. Now he can not debate me. I have surpassed him. But I stilll look to him as a teacher. My blonde haired blue eyed surfer that knows the word of God, I will always love him. Regardless.

i wasnt born when the prophets were here and if there is ny left then i just havent seen em.
But i would be towards the teaching and not the looks.
in the pictures Jesus is blonde with blue eyes but there just isnt any1 alive who has actually seen Jesus when he was here on earth the time he was crucified.
i dont know i guess u can see for urself when u go to heaven and that is only by believing that Christ died for ur sins
Best of Luck

George Albert Smith of the Latter Day Saint religion had blue eyes and might have had blond hair but he didn't become a prophet until his hair turned gray.

According to the Holy Bible, Jesus was a Jew by nature. I find it very unlikely for him to have had blond hair and blues eyes. And it is not His ethnicity that I put faith in. It is the love that He showed me when He died on the cross.

actually, Buddha was blonde hair and blue eyed, remember, Buddha came from India not China, all those statues and stuff are just Chinese art, but seriously, Buddha belonged to the warrior upper classes of India who at the time belonged to the blonde haired & blue eyed Aryan race from central asia, Hitler loved buddhism, and after he won the war, he had planned to do away with Christianity, and replace it with a Germanic style buddhist religion (obviously one of his own creation, but based on buddhist principles)...even the swastika itself comes from these blonde haired & blue eyed Aryan race from central asia...its very interesting stuff, if you do your homework, you will find this to be accurate information.

Hmm.. I don't know, but my best guess would be no, since most did come from the middle east in the times of Christ, and they were predominately dark haired. We don't really know though, the bible doesn't mention it.

people making god in their own image and likness?
