What Nazarenes? There are two different kinds. The first Nazarenes are the modern Christian denomination, which accepts the 66 books of the Protestant canon. The other Nazarenes (or Nasoreans) never actually existed, and so did not have any specific scripture.

But the ancient Nazarenes, from Nazareth, accepted the canon of the Jewish diaspora, which included the Septuagint Greek Old Testament, along with most of the books included in the Apocrypha. Except for the book of Esther, which they probably did not accept, and the book of Job, which probably followed the Hebrew reading instead of the Septuagint.

My father was a Nazarene minister and they follow the bible just like all other denominations. They believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. That you are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.
