A goddess buried her Lord and husbands ever full wine cup in a strange land across the ocean to keep the God from drinking. The Grand Canyon is the result.

Hmm I don't really remember this I once read it but I tell you what I remember.
It was the time of the gods and humans. The humans ate raw meat and veggies because they had not yet discovered fire. A god took pity on them, and, without permission, went down to Earth and gave them the gift of.... fire (or something)!
Zues found out and he was angry. They made a deal; the god that helped the humans put meat in one sack, bones in the other. The one who got the meat got the fire... or something and the one who got the bones got nothin!
Zues chose the sack that seemed bulkier; anyone would, and it contained the bones. Mankind got the food (and fire!)!!!!
Yay

How rain was created, with the Greek God of the Sea, Poseidon. And whoever else you choose. I had to do that once, using only Greek/Roman Gods/Goddesses as main people and one or two of our own creation... So much fun!!

...

You could say Poseidon gave some of his water to Zeus, after losing in a duel or something like that. Then Zeus took pity on the people of the land when there was a drought and he let some of Poseidon's water fall to the ground to help them. Idk, just random ideas here...

Have fun!

Why is the ocean salty? Saltana, goddess of salt?
Why is the sky blue? Electra, goddess of color?
Why do I have assignments like this? Magera, goddess of imagination?

OK, your turn.
