My oldest son's girlfriend who lives in another state is SDA and she wants to come here and stay with us during my son's Christmas break from college. I just wondered if they celebrate Christmas. If they do her family would surely want her there for Christmas. I have asked alot of SDA questions here since he has begun dating her and always appreciate your answers.

He or she was still a virgin in his or her 40s? Would you think there was something wrong with them, or would you be proud of them? Would you think they were chaste, or would you assume some hidden perversion?

Something to the effect of "Hey, this guy who has never met me is going to come along and write half of the New Testament," would have been helpful, no?

From what i read today, Aquarius ends on Feb. 18 and Pices begins on Feb. 19th, but my mother always told me i was aquarius when i was younger. In 1984 was Feb. 19th considered aquarius? A few months ago i had an astrologer tell me i was actually born aquarius, but i just thought i'd ask to make sure. If anyone know i would be quite appreciative.

where each answer has a comments section in which the questioner or someone can discuss with the answerer about his/her response (similar to the comments section that appear for the "Best Answer"). I feel that if there is an open conversation between people, there will be better understanding & less hatred and anger as it currently is on these boards.

What do you think?

Think of how the major world religions began. An idea was created, that idea was spread, and people either accepted or rejected that idea. Now, all the major world religions are in place. But would they be here today if it were not for the fact that they all reward their followers on some level? Eternal life, nirvana, re-incarnation, something is offered in each and every one of them. Picture in your mind a man who lived long ago, he considered himself a prophet and spoke of a creature that created the universe and that we must love this being. The simple question that would follow would be, "Why should we follow it?". Would anyone listen to him if he did not offer something? Would they just take his word for it? I can't name one religion without some reward or caveat that exists today.

He loves unconditionally. He doesn't ever tell you that you're not good enough or that who you are is wrong or bad.He doesn't care about what you believe or how you live your life just so long as you're nice to him.He doesn't care for dogma because he hates dogs.He knows that there is no God because he is already the center of the universe and he commands respect otherwise he will scratch you and hiss until he gets his respect. He walks proud and talks often. But he never uses his pride or his words to tell you what to do.Just as long as you respect his space, you and my cat will get along just fine. Now is that morality or what?

Satan is often visualized as a red demon looking montser with a pointed tail with horns, and a pitch fork with an ugly face. When in fact Satan was one of God's most beautiful angel's who was thrown out of Heaven because of him challenging God's authority and Word. We need to be aware of what the real Lucifer looks like and how he can present himself in many forms. He can look innocent, wholesome and pure but he is deceitful and manipulative and the father of all lies.

I can see maybe doing it once in a while to double check something. But if I'm dating someone who makes a habit of it, am I right to be uncomfortable? Should they not be doing that?

NOTE: I never order anything on the menu that is more expensive than what my host orders. And I am generous about paying when it is my turn to pay. I also am generous about cooking for other people in my home, and bringing them cakes and stuff when I bake.

Please no BS! What character would u reccomend other than Princess Leia or Jabba the Hutt. I am female so there aren't many for women but I'd be the Queen (Luke & Leia's mother) if I was a female. The Authentic Vader costume is $700. No thanks. I thought about a storm/clone trooper so no 1 recognizes me lol.

What is the need for prayer when god is supposed to know everything. Wouldnt your prayer to a all knowing god be a huge waste of time and energy. Just a thought that came to my mind from a yahoo question. Thx to all that answer.
