He loves unconditionally. He doesn't ever tell you that you're not good enough or that who you are is wrong or bad.He doesn't care about what you believe or how you live your life just so long as you're nice to him.He doesn't care for dogma because he hates dogs.He knows that there is no God because he is already the center of the universe and he commands respect otherwise he will scratch you and hiss until he gets his respect. He walks proud and talks often. But he never uses his pride or his words to tell you what to do.Just as long as you respect his space, you and my cat will get along just fine. Now is that morality or what?

There is no contradiction in being nice. You don't have to like my cat or love my cat.Just be nice to him and he will love you even if you don't like him. That is far more unconditional then the love discribed in religion. My cat doesn't live for food anymore then you do and could easily get his own food.

Some people have some really corrupted ideas about animals (1st and 6th answer for example).Regardless of what you think, animals have emotions. To think otherwise suggests a humanistic ego the likes of which probably is gained through that loving religion you have.

I'm not sure, but I think you just proved that God is a Cat. Or your cat is God. Or something.

There is no reason why one person should put their rights above any other or have the right to own them. Whether we can morally own another type of animal is debatable. Most people regard human rights as greater than those of other animals because of our higher intelligence, and so do not consider ownership of pets to be immoral, as long as the animal is treated well.

By showing someone their shortcomings you are doing them a favor and giving them a chance to improve, out of love and concern. "As long as..." is conditional. Nothing wrong with dogma if it's grounded in truth. Every ego by its nature is in denial of the real Ego of the universe and thinks there is no God, which is really just a convenient denial so that ego can exist. Ego demands to be worshiped selfishly, or else it takes a revenge, like scratching people. Ego is selfish and proud and loud. Commanding respect is telling someone what to do. "Just as long as..." is another conditional thing.

Animals do not know morality. They are true to their nature and do not need morals since they cannot be immoral.

You need to think a little more deeply about things.

May be people need religion, just that sometimes, people miss use it, for something negative.
With out religion, then people worship something else, from money, drink, drugs, greed or other things ?

Many things been said about how bad religion is, when misused, but it gives hope to so many & makes the impossible , possible to live with

Animals don't love. I have a dog and I am aware of that fact. (However, I do love my dog). Animals go by instinct, and instinct only. They pretty much go to whoever has the food bowel. Always remember, IT'S AN ANIMAL, not a human.

"He loves unconditionally" and "....just so long as you're nice to him" are contradictory. Cats love food. They love to sleep. Their owners are their meal tickets. If that is morality, then cats are moral.
