My oldest son's girlfriend who lives in another state is SDA and she wants to come here and stay with us during my son's Christmas break from college. I just wondered if they celebrate Christmas. If they do her family would surely want her there for Christmas. I have asked alot of SDA questions here since he has begun dating her and always appreciate your answers.

i do no longer understand what you mean abotu Day fo relax and Day of Worship- those are not relatively biblical words. yet they do have fun Christmas. i became into raised a seventh-Day Adventist, and my father is a Professor at an Adventist college (he became into till now a Pastor till he became a Professor) SDAs have faith that there is not any information to signify the exchange of the Sabbath day commandment. They sense that there is nowhere in the Bible that God replaced the ten Commandments, and that the only reason Sunday worship got here in became into as a results of fact it became into replaced to that day in the early days to co-incide with the Pagan weekend (while the ruler became a Christian). in addition they have faith in making the completed day sacred, sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, and put it aside for meditation and worship. If something, i could say as far as Christians circulate, the SDAs are extra committed, and with Pacifist ideals, they are against Wars in Iraq, they do no longer tell those that they are going to hell and that they've multiple well-being care structures that make existence plenty less demanding for individuals. i'm now no longer a Christian, yet i will nonetheless characterize the SDAs in a honest easy, as far as what their ideals are. The Bible by no capacity pronounced an afternoon of Worship, this is a thoroughly seperate doctrine, maximum possibly invented by using a similar authority that replaced the purported day of Sabbath and different Christian practices.

If the girl in question wishes to come into your household, then she should adhere to the traditions closely held within the household that she is visiting. She should be made aware in advance of the traditions that you are observing. This should be amicable for all parties concerned.

May you injoy the time together!

Yes, although it is a pagan holiday. TRUE Christians have nothing to do with any form of paganism, including Christmas.

Yep. Even though its a pagan holiday we celebrate it because its a great opportunity to get people to know Christ. (and its a great conversation starter about paganism and Christianity)
