If someone told you that god told them in a dream the world will end 12-30-07 would you believe it. I would not believe that unless I see this for my self?

I could have a field day with your limitations claimed above.
Simple thought processs though; take what you do know; see if the 'scriptural' explanations 'make sense' currently.
Second, notice the pattern of He said 'A'; 'A' happened. (Past events; Genesis 1- now).
Third; Can it continue to happen? (That is 'faith' in a nut shell).

“Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe” (Jn. 20:25)

That is the situation in the world today. However, the Lord Jesus says: “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe” (Jn. 20:29)

You see, although I have not seen the Lord Jesus with my own two eyes, I HAVE experienced His grace, His love, and His mercy. He has done so many things for me, and He has proved His existence numerous times through ways you will not believe. He has even saved my family from bankruptcy just in the nick of time, in a way no one would expect.

No one on this earth has seen the Lord Jesus physically. However, we actually may, with the Lord's second coming so close. I just can not believe why there are worldly people who doubt His existence, when the signs are so noticeable. Let me give you an example:

The Lord is coming back soon, very soon. A good few years after the first coming of the Lord, Isreal, was completely destroyed. The people of God were scattered across the middle east, and it was unrecoverable. However, in 1948 (just a few years back), Isreal suddenly re emerged out of nothing! No country in history has EVER come back after being completely destroyed. Praise the Lord! 11 years later (or was it 10, I'm not 100% sure), Jerusalem was regained by the Jewish people.

So what can I say? The prophesies foretold in Revelations are being displayed, one by one, in real life. The signs are undeniable. What can you do but pray that you are ready? :)

Hence the debate over is there or is there not God.... how old the earth is...... etc...... NO one that lives today as seen Jesus in the flesh, nor have they seen a dinosaur or walked with one........ were not here when the world was made....... etc........ I could go on and on and on....... People make the choice, kinda, to believe God or believe scientist, either way it is still called having *faith* in something or some one....... go in peace.......... God bless

is your five physical sense all you can believe?

your thoughts & emotions are unseen by the physical sense yet you see & feel them. infact they drive you they are who you are.

this world is so much more than your five senses. you do not sense or feel the radio waves, tv waves, satillite signals all coursing through you body just to mention a very few unseen unfelt forces in creation.

Faith and Reason are how we know God. And reason has just as much to do with it as faith. It's not some hocus pocus.

I respect your thoughts, however, since you couldn't possibly have SEEN your brain put that thought together, you can't possibly believe it either.
