My husband and I are thinking about initiating the process of baptizing our three month old. He wants his best friend (who is single) to be the godfather, and I want my best friend (who is married) to be the godmother. However, I was always under the impression that godparents should be a married couple, therefore, I feel like my best friend and her husband should be the godparents, instead of two people who have no connection to each other. He says it doesn't matter. Any thoughts?

They love being anonymous to they can spout off all they want, but they do all they can to prevent being reported and/or contacted. Personally, I think if you want to participate here you should be open to communication, since it IS a two way street.

To my understanding, the Trinity is a doctrine of Christianity that states God is a spiritual being in Heaven (the "Father"), Jesus is God incarnated as a man on Earth (the "Son"), and the Holy Ghost is God's spirit inside the souls of God-fearing people. It seems, then, that this is one spiritual being (God) in three different forms. Is this essentially the Trinity?

Obviously this is for the Christians. Ok, I'm having the hardest time clearing my mind so I can have ALL focus on Christ when I pray. & because the lack of meditation, I find it hard to find a constant daily prayer life. any suggestions???
