If it were possible to live forever on earth it would be a curse unless it turned into a perfect world. But nobody lives forever physically. But Spiritually, that is another subject. I use to sing a song years ago by the name of: I'm Going To Live Forever. It goes like this:
I'm going to live forever, I'm going to die no never.... Jesus died on the tree for me... So I can live forever. One day Jesus will come back to earth to set up His kingdom here on earth. Then it will be a wonderful blessing!

A blessing. If you see it the way I do:
I will be living forever. Happily in Heaven. With God.
But if you see it on Earth:
A curse I suppose..

A lot of literary speculation has been done on this topic and tales recounted through immortal, long-lived, or immortality-desiring figures from Methuselah and Lazarus to Duncan MacLeod, Phil Connors and Voldemort. I think it depends on what state or level of existence "living forever" constitutes. If one remains in the same form, with the same level of consciousness, one would eventually lose every friend and family member. In this case, I'd ultimately feel detached from humanity and fall into despair.
However, if living forever involves a progression into higher states of consciousness and interaction with others--whether rebirth, an afterlife, or something else--then, I think, it would be a blessing.

A curse to me. I would not want to live forever to see all the heartache and hurt in the world. To watch all those I love die before me. It would be a curse.

This is similar to the following question: if you had all you can eat in the world, or all the money in the world, would it be a blessing or a curse?
My answer: too much of anything is bound to have its toll on you

It would be a blessing if I was well and felt great everyday that I would be able to enjoy every bit of the good things that life has to offer. but for those who suffer day after day I think it would be a curse.

If the world lived forever as well and got better and better with every passing year, if the people you love stayed with you forever, it would be definitely a blessing. We have so little time to give and receive love, improve ourselves and the world, simply enjoy life

A curse! Who says you won't just lay there on a death bed forever. Has no one read Gulliver's Travels? The Struldbruggs (sp?) lived forever, but kept deteriorating. Their lives were miserable.

Obviously a curse. I mean if u live forever you'll never know what it's like to die and the aftermath of it all. If you live forever everyone you love will die off.

Curse if one truly did stay consistently in a single of two tremendously undesirable places invented by way of morons. I examine a narrative whilst i became a boy a pair of guy who heard a pair of place the place some immortals lived. He imagined what performs shakespear could have written if he became nevertheless alive. whilst he stumbled on the immortls, they have been mendacity in a veritable pigpen. One stated that they had consistently to jot down super books or paint super photographs, so why complication?
