Sounding even dumber than they did in the first place? I mean if you are trying to defend the ignorance of your fellow creationists it would be wise to do some backround research on the people you site.
P.S. Francis collins accepts evolution! Hahahaha

"Belief in creationism is inversely correlated to education; of those with post-graduate degrees, only 22% believe in strict creationism."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Level_of_support_for_evolution

Why do you think this is true?

Disclaimer - Creationists, I'm not calling you on uneducated. I'm wondering why you believe this general trend exists.

Why is english not the language of the United States? If we wanted Spanish to be the main language they would start teaching that in kindergarden. Dont we all basically speak english? I cant stand how the United States of America does not have a language.

France has french
Spain has spainish etc.... i think you can see my point

I thought you weren't supposed to fly a flag at night without a light on it or in the rain. Also I thought when flags are worn you were supposed to donated them to the boy scouts for proper handling. Is this not true anymore? I see flags everywhere in the rain, at night with no respect

this was in an answer from TD in a recent question i asked about halloween. how many of you think this is accurate?

Halloween is the most favored holy & sacred day for witches, Satanists, & devil worshippers. It is a cultic celebration of demonic power.
They perform many rituals to open the gates of the underworld for spirits to come forth & speak.
They attempt to contact the dead & are bodily possessed with an evil spirit to gain knowledge as the spirits advise and assist them.
They invoke the spirits for personal power through black magic.
They worship Baal as King.
They receive power through the practice of meditation with a higher mind and through spirit guides (evil)............

feel about Atheist? I mean it seems most in here that claim to be against religion always target Christians, Jews, and Muslims. Atheist, how do you feel about pagans, Wiccans, Hindus, Budhist, and all the other types of religions? What if people worship the ancient Greek gods still how do you feel about that? And to those who are pagans, Wiccans, Hindus, Budhist, and other religions, what do you think of Atheist? It seems to me that Atheist only target Christians, Jews and Muslims in that order and don't think about the other religions. Well guess what....the other religions beleive in a god, spirits, or some form of higher power.

I have a very old good friend who has an adult daughter. Her daughter is a very overbearing and sometimes rude person. We all used to socialize together. There has been friction between myself and the daughter in the past, to the point that I didn't socialize with her at all for some time. My friend has been aware of this, and has at times unfortunately been in the middle of these conflicts. More recently, we had all been socializing together again, infrequently. This friend and I have grown apart somewhat, and her daughter moved out of state, much to my relief.

Hostilities were renewed when this friend went in the hosptital for an fairly serious but common surgery. I'll just say this involved female parts. Her daughter announced the upcoming procedure during a dinner out with a group of friends at a restaurant. My friend acted embarrassed, and as if she would have preferred that it not be discussed. After checking to make sure she would be OK, I dropped the issue.
