I believe each religion has its belief in a creator, supreme being, universal being or higher power. No matter what country, nationality, religion or even American Indians. This is probably what you refer to as all those different Gods. I, myself, may not believe in the interpretation that each of these have or the words they have written because of the misused power of man to write what suits him at the time. But I do believe that it will all come together in the end.
It is my belief that there is only one God...... no matter what name you want to give Him. The difference in being a Christian is the acceptance of Jesus Christ as our savior, that He died on the cross for us.
Faith in God...... If you sit in a room by yourself, with your eyes closed, you cant see the ceiling but you know it is there. You know it is there if it rains, or snows so you wont get wet. Or, You are in the room by yourself and you are thinking of a loved one. You cant see them, you cant touch them but you know they exist and are there for you when you need them.
I don't know your age or experience with your Church, Bible, or Sunday School but this would be a good place to get the answers you are looking for.

Mankind has created hundreds of gods.

Here is a list of some of them:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_deities

The Christian god is taken from the Jewish god, which was the war god of one tribe that was successful in it's conquests in the Middle East.

Bear in mind all these gods have had thousands to millions of followers who have all absolutely believed in the divinity of their gods.

Now, they can not all be right. Most gods must be false gods. There is nothing to say that any of them are actually right.

So what makes you sure that you are right? Do you have any hard evidence to support your belief?

Consider dragons. Dragons are well documented, better documented than the Christian god. But do you believe in dragons? I suspect not - there is no evidence to say that dragons actually exist, so until such evidence turns up we do not believe in them. Same for unicorns, mermaids and centaurs. So why does God get a different requirement for belief?

Atheists don't believe in any god. That does not mean an Atheist can't belong to a religion, though. Religions are simply sets of rules to live by. And not all religions have a god (think Buddhism as an example).

The only God is the GOd of the Holy Bible. Which is the triune God of three operating as ONE< HOly BLessed trinity. all others gods are false and arent really gods. false religion. This is what God tell us. HE says anyone that brings God to you without the full teachings of Jesus Christ, is false and we are to flee The false religions come from the devil that will do anything to keep from reaching God Himself Jesus is God and So is The HOly SPirit, the only way to salvation is thru Jesus and His death on the cross. So if the devil can lead you to never believe in God , he has you. IF he can get you to belive in a god that doesnt preach Jesus, he still has you. As Jesus is the only way. For any of my beliefs, I Use only scripture. I read what God says, believe it and obey it. What HE says settles it for me and should for anyone using the Christian label. BEing Christian means being a follower of Jesus Christ. Yt you meet ppl in so many false religions that dont belive in God using the Christian label IT is to draw others in to their falseness. Stay with Jesus , as He is coming soon.

There are hundreds of gods . The Scandinavians have Thor and Wodin just to mention two, Ancient Greeks worshipped Zeus ans his pals, Romans had the gods we named the planets after.
That's without going to India , China, Australia, Polynesia etc who all have their own gods.

hindus say they believe in their gods because they have faith.
shintoists believe because they have faith.
animists have faith.
people who believe in sateria have faith.
all theists have faith and only faith. one faith does not over ride and trump another faith. faith is insubstantial, nebulous and cannot prove anything. your faith is no better or worse than any other faith.
atheists, on the other hand, have a large body of facts that can be tied together that probably indicates that the universe and life are a totally natural phenomena. the body of knowledge gets tweaked from time to time and the understanding of the processes change, but the underlying fact that it is a natural process does not change.

I believe in one less God than you do. They have as much proof of many Gods as you have of one.

There are THOUSANDS of gods - all imaginary. Zeus, Thor, Allah, Mithra, Odin, Mercury, Loki, Osiris, Jesus, the list is long and varied. I sincerely hope you're only about twelve or so, otherwise you are appallingly ignorant...but you can learn! There's a book called the Encyclopedia of gods and goddesses, find it and read!

I believe in none of them, of course, they are all just figments of the imagination, like Freddy Krueger or Jason or Spiderman.
