The problem is that there are very "Educated" people on both sides of this issue. Yet the problem lies in the details.

There are to many gaps in the evolutionary chain. Undeniable.

God is in the Details.

I personally see these arguments are about people who have apparently and allegedly misinterpreted a misrepresentation that is than used as a religious/historical document. A book that can actually be based on natural disasters and natural phenomena and thereby calling it a deities will or judgement.

But this changes when it comes to the phenomena of alleged extraterrestrials and UFO sitings and than supposedly throughout our natural history. With that in mind; that with their possible involvement in our own evolution, it can also raise an eyebrow about what or who is a Watcher and a fallen angel/nephilim and what are their so-called works and false miracles.

It is my undertsanding that with the right kind of advanced technologies many of these events especially advanced genetics throughout our history can be achieved. An illusion of a deity or false God than could be what we would have refered to as a beast, reptile or dragon. The concept of a plan or program to advance contain and manipulate a planet and its inhabitants such as humans is than within the realm of believeability.

I myself have had personal experience with these "people" that have been referred to as the greys and reptillians. Some of their technology also appears to be using artificial life forms or androids. Biblically; Jesus had mentioned the hosts and the great hosts: This appears to be just one of their many abilities by using implants and or clones to control business and politics. You people can argue and insult each other all you want until reality finally slaps you upside your heads.

To assume that everything we have learned as Gospel is false than I believe there is still a day coming when the truth or "Revelations" will reveal itself more clearly once and forall. It can still be very possible that both creation and evolution actually go hand in hand.

lots of believers are educated. einstein was a believer, as well as most of the physicists of the early 20th century.

but when you talk about creationists, that is a different story. creationists ARE uneducated, or at least willfully ignorant.

creationism comes from a misunderstanding of what a scientific theory is. they misuse the word theory, giving it its general definition, and claim that if it's just a theory it's not true, and that "creationism" is just as valid a theory.
in fact, a scientific theory is a well established framework for understanding observed facts, and is testable. creationism is none of that.

so a creationist that claims that evolution is not a scientific theory, or that creationism is, or is even remotely in the ballpark, IS uneducated and ignorant.

i'll bet professors collins and strobel are not creationists.

As a Christian, I freely admit that many Christians are ignorant of how things are supposed to work according to non-theists. Few understand evolution, the Big Bang or even basic physics. There are a select set of very educated and very well informed Christians (Michael Behe and JP Moreland come to mind), but sadly these are the exception and not the rule.

However, most non-theists are very ignorant of what it is that we believe, and base their arguments on analogies equally as rediculous as assuming a broken computer will re-convene and evolve into another computer (posted as a counter to evolution earlier today).

As far as I'm concerned, this question has been settled for decades.I ask this,"If the universe came to be in 7 days or billions of yeard,is it any less a miricle that life developed here on Earth? The arguement is specious at best&those that believe that the worls began exactly as it did in the Bible are clearly misguided,so much so,that it's scary.

Show me one time where I have referred to a believer as uneducated. Some of the questions attempting to criticize the theory of evolution are posted by people who obviously know nothing about and I point that out.

Some believers are uneducated but some are very well educated and very intelligent.
Likewise some evolutionists, after all the child taught at school to believe in evolution becomes an evolutionist when he/she accepts this doctrine.
But let's not cast stones at eachother.

In the Bible, Adam and Eve were thrown out of the Garden Of Eden because they ate of the tree of "knowledge" and as a result, all humans are born with the stain of original sin.

Why then, would anybody be surprised that a group of people, who fervently believe that every single word in the Bible is absolutely true, refuse to increase their level of "knowledge" about anything that is not specifically mentioned in the Bible?

Most only say that about believers who deny evolution and the science behind it due to ignorance-a scientic theory is not just a guy in his underwear making stuff up. It is a heavily researched thing that is only considered a theory because it cant be proven.

Personally, I consider anti-believer evolutionists and atheists just as ignorant as the people who deny the sciencitically provable aspects of evolution (adaptation of the species over time and such).

We're dealing with things that cannot be proven, so how can either side demand that the other give up their point of view?

Granted, now take a look at the majority of "believer's" questions and answers here. I bet both of those that you mentioned would be appalled at the lack of understanding and/or education displayed.

Oh by the way, I assume you know these two personally and can vouch that they are believers? You aren't just assuming that some christian website alleges that they are?

Show me where in the Bible (which is what we believe in, not just what our preacher tells us) education is ever touted over faith anyway. "The wisdom of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate." 1 Corinthians 1:18,19. At least I'm smart enough to figure out that the people who would criticize me for maintaining my faith in the face of "education" were being addressed here. And FYI, did you know that 75% of atheists who answer no when asked if they believe in God will fail that question on a lie detector test? Hmm...
