When i was about 8 years old my aunt from Calif. enrolled me in The Science Fiction Book Club. It came with a first class ticket on the first, first class liner to the moon. I'm 59 now so that was several moons ago and i have long since lost the ticket. I was just wandering if there was any one out there who remembers this or is it just my old imagination running away with me. I am a lifelong Science Fiction Fan. I love Terry Pratchett's stuff!

And I think "witchcraft prayers" are made up. Witchcraft was here before Christianity.

My dad can't walk far, and the spaces are often full of able bodied people . My friend has a disabled child who she has to cope with on her own. Don't these people care that it might be them or one of their family one day?

I had a magnificent experience this weekend: I and my friend - a snake cathcer and handler - were called out to rescue a Black Mamba (probably Africa's most feared venomous snake!) which was being threatened by forest fires. These fires had devestated 100's of acres of pine forest the past week and uncountable snakes, small mammals and birds were destroyed by the all consuming flames. The snake was taken to a local vet and is receiving physiotherapy (humidifier inhalation) for infection caused by smoke inhalation in its lung (snakes have only one lung!) and we hope to pull it through! This made for a truly memorable weekend for me - how was YOUR weekend? Will you remember it for something special?!

Priest of Shalom who Father Abraham paid a 10th to. Jesus is our High King & Priest of Shalom after the Order of Melchizedek.

I think it is interesting that Islam comes from the Word Shalom also. So does Jeru'salem'. So also who Melchizedek is the High King & Priest of Shalom. And Jesus Priesthood is after the order of Melchizedek.

Do you think this means something?

that women are ritually unclean during their menstruation? You hardly ever hear somebody call that barbaric but when it is for a group of people of another faith you hear it all the time.

I mean, here they were, looking at their calendars, noticing that the dates were all in >>B.C.<<, and kept getting closer and closer to zero each year. And then the calendar changes to "Anno Domine" (The year of the Lord).
It wouldn't take a genious to figure out that something big involving a Lord was going to happen, and when. And those "wise" men - they may have needed a star to guide them, but they should have known to be looking for someone when the Calendar changed to 1 AD.

I love volunteering and need to get back into it. However, I work and am in school fulltime, so I don't have a ton of freetime. I usually volunteer at old age homes (I have a therapy dog) or our zoo which are not the best places for me to meet people my own age. I am 30 and single and would love to find a way to combine my love of volunteering with socializing because I don't have time for both. I love animals and kids. Any ideas for orgs that have a higher percentage of people my age in Michigan (Detroit area)?

i used to be super A.D.D and get d's and f's now i maintain a 4.o. i have became more social.leaned/learning to play guitar. calmer and just a better person. i have become more religious.i guess im a christafari lol.
