Brian got it. The poster you are referring to changes his name constantly. It is currently "Your Mormon neighbor". I know it's the same guy because I have him blocked. He generally puts "Mormon" in his user name but don't be fooled. He is not LDS. Check out his Q & A. All his posts are meant to criticize and ridicule the LDS church. I guess he feels that if he poses as a Mormon, he could give us a bad name or something. It's really sad that he spends that much time being fake over the internet. I've reported him myself, and I'm glad that I'm not the only one.

I have not seen the poster to which you refer and am not
totally conversant on the facts surrounding the case.However. it seems to me that the precedent for such behavior is centuries old. I can not and will not address the circumstances of Ms.Smarts abduction and the ultimate release, however, even though O.J.Simpson was adjudicated "not guilty" he continues to be a topic of great speculation. The continuing dialog concerning Princess Diane, the innuendo concerning Ted Kennedy and many, many others, including movie stars, sports stars et al,indicates that irrespective of how irresponsible it may be, and even salacious, there exists a belief that virtually nothing is sacrosanct and is,for better or worse, "fair game"".

What's scary is that this poor girl has not only been violated she's become something of a poster child and a target for online scum. This particular poster is Troll Trash to the core..
I so wish her parents had not tried to capitalize on her abduction with all the media attention and book publishing...

I've noticed a couple of those questions myself, and they did strike me as odd. I remember a few years back when that singer (I think her name was Selena or something along those lines) who was killed by, of all people, the president of her fan club. Yeah, it may indeed be helpful to point out these kinds of things to the proper people (I think the guy asking about Miss Smart did seem unusually obsessed with her) - you never know if you could save a life by doing so.

I have not noticed the poster - but that is lame. As if Elizabeth Smart has not gone through enough!
By the way, she was kidnapped by a freak who named himself Emannuel. She was held captive as one of his polygamous wives for a while (can't remember how long) 6 months? A year?
Anyway, sounds like she's a trooper! I think she's in college now.
Brother G - Emmanuel was found to be incompetent to stand trial... he will never have one. He's in a state psychiatric hospital for forever.... I think.

I suppose you mean this individual:

This poster's name changes frequently so I have posted the link to his profile. I didn't notice any of the questions to which you refer, but after searching "Elizabeth Smart" in Yahoo Q&A I was able to find his questions.
If you read just a few of his questions, it will quickly become apparent that he is only mocking the beliefs of Mormons. I seriously doubt he holds any good feelings toward the church.

The guy posting these question is not a real Mormon, he is just a poser. He makes others believe that he is a real Mormon, but if you pay close attention to his questions and answers, you'll find out that he's just a basher. Glad you took action anyways.
BTW, hey Mr. Peepers, why did you change your name and avatar?

Elizabeth Smart was kidnapped in Utah a few years ago...by a wacko, driven to San Diego for a year and then he came back with her and his wife and walked around the area of Salt Lake until he was caught.
I don't think he has been on trial yet.

The posts about dear Elizabeth were horrible. It is hard to believe that anyone could be so ignorant and unfeeling. It does seem to show that some mormons are following President Kimball's teachings on better dead than defiled, though.
