Novus Ordo Seclorum" means "New Order of the Ages".

The thing about Latin, though, is that meanings and translations can sometimes be a bit vague. For instance, the first quote doesn't say "God favors our undertakings", and it doesn't say "Providence favors our undertakings". It is often tranlsated as "Providence favors our undertakings", probably because it would be a bit presumptuous to infer that the quote is referring to God. Even though God is mentioned elsewhere on the dollar bill.

"Providence" is more respectful of diversity.
