People seem to love to hear answers about us FROM people who either don't like us or who know so little about us, like this:
**QUEST: Have JWs predicted any more dates:
**BEST ANS- Chosen by Asker:
"In my hometown, they'd set a date in the 80's- but maybe that was just my local branch? It as like 85 or something. My mother would drive us by the house they were holed up in. This was before Waco and all that, of course"
--THIS IS really funny because most best answers concerning the "TRUTH" about what we do or believe , seem to be from non-JWs & ACCEPTED as absolute truths!
***SO THEN which of the following do we fulfill?
1. We know nothing about our religion! Or the Bible!
2. We love to fool everybody as to what we believe or do! & don't love Jehovah & Christ Jesus!
3. We want to somehow lasso the world to our beliefs no matter what!
4. We all have been hypnotized(6.5 mill) and really are controlled by our mesmerizers!
5. We get 5 cents for eveyone that believes us!

Please look in your heart for your answer.
I have a belief that each and everyone of us is a small part and manifestation of God. So each of us has a piece of the answer to the question of what or who God is. But we need to be honest with ourselves in order to find that answer that resonates with our soul.

Please write only 1-5 sentences.

And e-mail this question to people you know. This is a project I am embarking on. Together we will find the answer.

last night a family member had a life threatening situation occur.(she had brain surgury in the night and is hanging on)
i am really struggeling because my mom keeps telling me to PRAY! "you have to pray...its all we can do!" so, ive instructed my kids to pray for her, but i am so numb...because i dont know how prayer works anymore.its seems like we are just begging god to change his mind, or, if we get enough people to sign the petition( praying) that maybe we can have an effect.or...we could pray that god's will be done. does praying that give god the permission he was looking for to make a decision?
i just dont get it. i wish i had faith like a child, but, i dont.

if you respond, please be nice. thanks.

engage in homosexual and bisexual behavior? I was watching a special on National Geographic about dolphins and they were discussing how they are the only species of animal that engages in homo/bisexual acts. If you say the bible considers that a sin, and some say it is a choice, did the dolphins make a choice too? There have even been reports of people being "sexually attacked" by dolphins which is beastiality. I'm being serious here, why do we see this in nature? Will dolphins be destroyed? What say you?

Why is it that many people have nothing good to say about black people? Why do people sit around all day and come up with names to shame and humiliate black people? What we ever do to them? Wish they would just let be. I mean if you have to beat down other people to feel some what superior than you must feel really low in the inside! People if you have issues with yourself don't try and make it our problem!

To think that i will be in heaven or hell as a self conscious person for eternity is one thing i would never agree to

to be a self conscious being means to be tormented every second and thats what we all experience as human beings

why would anyone want to continue to be tormented in heaven for eternity?

I read in Matthew chapter 27 about the death of Judas by suicide/hanging. However, I remember that somewhere in the other gospels there was a passage where he fell and "split open." I have not been able to find this passage in the New Testament Bible detailing the alternate scenario of the death of Judas Iscariot. Any ideas about its location?

Three guys die together in an accident and go to heaven. When they get there, St. Peter says, "We only have one rule here in heaven: Don't step on the ducks!"

So they enter heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the place. It is almost impossible not to step on a duck, and although they try their best to avoid them, the first guy accidentally steps on one.

Along comes St. Peter with the ugliest woman he has ever seen. St. Peter chains them together and says, "Your punishment for stepping on a duck is to spend eternity chained to the ugly woman!"

The next day, the second guy steps accidentally on a duck, and along comes St. Peter, who doesn't miss a thing, and with him is another extemely ugly woman. He chains them together with the same admonishment as for the first guy.

The thrid guy has observed all this and not wanting to be chained for all eternity to an ugly woman, is very, VERY careful where he steps. He manages to go months without stepping on any ducks, but one day St. Peter comes up to him with the most gorgeous woman he has ever laid eyes on: a very tall, tan, curvaceous, sexy blonde. St. Peter chains them together without saying a word.

The guy remarks, "I wonder what I did to deserve being chained to you for all of eternity?"

She says, "I don't know about you, but I stepped on a duck!"

I'm referring to Adam and Eve here.

They were kicked out the Garden of Eden for eating the forbidden fruit and forced to live on Earth where there was pain and suffering. Fair enough, they broke the rules.

But why are we still all being punished, and forced to live on Earth, when it was a sin that our ancestors committed thousands of years ago?

I understand that some people are bad during their lifetime and so maybe deserve to be banished from Eden even to this day, but what about the genuinely good people in life?

As far as I'm aware, people like the Pope and many others live good, honest lives. So why are they forced to stay on Earth and suffer? Why aren't they born straight into the Garden of Eden if they are good people?

Jesus cannot save you, only God can. Jesus himself will be judged on judgment day. Please don't follow Paul, he is just a man. Follow Jesus, follow God.

1 Corinthians 15:28

When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in Heaven, neither the son, but the Father." (Mark 13:32 and Matt. 24:36) But God knows all. His knowledge is without any limitations.

"Verily, verily I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do..." (John 5:19). Again he said, "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not mine own will but the will of the Father which has sent me." (John 5:30) But God is not only All-Powerful, He is also the source of all power and authority.
