I'm a mom.
Here is some things I'd like:
My car cleaned inside and out
The entire house cleaned
The laundry done
Someone to wait on me hand and foot
Not sure how old you are but someone to cook for me
Being a mom is HARD WORK for someone to take some of the pressure off us for a bit is great!
I don't need a gift but service now that's a gift!

I have a few ideas for this one actually. You could make her a collage of photos you have. Make copies of all the photos you have of times together. Maybe her high school days, your childhood photos, family photos, etc. Put them all together on a neat sheet of paper and go to goodwill and buy a frame on 50% off everything Saturday. You can get one for as little as $2 depending on the size. Around the lines of this idea, you could get a cheap photo album from goodwill and decorate it yourself. It can just be simple "Thanks yous" for things she taught you when you were little. You could write her a letter as a card to go along with it. Telling her how much you appreciate her. Real tear jerker for sure. Give her a disposable camera and tell her to take pictures of everything in the world she loves. Develop them with her and let it be a bonding experience.

I like to:
Take a bunch of photos, real ones of family, or from magazines etc ( things that remind me of mom ie> Mom loves pink, and frogs, I cut out a frog, and pink hearts) And glue them onto a huge piece of paper, or cardboard. You can use the side of a box even. Glue all these things here and there so no paper/cardboard is showing. It's called a collage. You can also glue other things, ticket stubs from movies you saw, glitter, and so on.
Have fun!

Make a scrapbook full of photos and things that bring make memories. Also, why not mke her a poem? Or say if she is 40, write 40 reasons why she is a wonderful person. Good luck, and remember to use your imagination.

First decorate a nice basket for her, with ribbons of her favourite colour. If you can bake then prepare yummy muffins of her favourite flavour.Add in her favourite cookies and chocolates. In the end design a really nice card by yourself(trust me they are more appreciated than the expensive Hallamark cards).Your mum will be smiling all day!

How about a slideshow of pictures that you can copy on to a disc for her. You could put them in powerpoint and add words, graphics and sound to give it an extra personal touch.
