I am honored by those who block me.

Just block some of the people you think of as idiots. The worst ones.

Or pick some other way of deciding which idiots you'll block.

Seriously, you do not become worse than they. I don't think that supporting everyone's right to speak means that you have to *listen* to them.

If you block all the people that you think of as idiots.... then you are effectively creating a fantasy world for yourself in which the idiots do not exist. You are essentially denying reality....

So essentially, you would become as bad as them, though not worse.

Part of accepting reality rather than fantasy involves taking the bad with the good and coming to terms with both.

Worse than all of them, not for certain. But blocking every opinion you don't like is a bit limiting. I have a healthy sized block list myself, but I only block people that post really stupid or offensive remarks. I really hate the extra long bible rants where they post several pages of their favorite bible verses as evidence of their beliefs. I'm an atheist that gives the bible no credibility, I'd rather not be bothered with those whose only evidence comes from it. Now, those who reason apart from the bible, giving their own thoughts and reasons, I listen to them even if I don't agree and always welcome their opinions.

But enough about me, as for you, blocking the true idiots does not make you worse than them. It simply keeps them from ruining your questions and reporting you for having a different view of things.

I don't block anyone because I don't want to presume to know what they might have to communicate. We are (hopefully) all growing in knowledge and just because someone might seem ignorant today doesn't mean that tomorrow they might have something useful to contribute. Besides which Jesus warned against judging others and not considering that we all have our own faults to deal with.

Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that you may not be judged. 2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you shall be judged; and with whatever measure you measure out, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why do you look on the splinter that is in your brother's eye, but do not consider the beam that is in your own eye? 4 Or how will you say to your brother, Let me pull the splinter out of your eye; and, behold, a beam is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First cast the beam out of your own eye, and then you shall see clearly to cast the splinter out of your brother's eye.

So while you might not become "worse" than other people you might be missing an opportunity to find something out and in any event all you have to do is click your mouse button to change what's on the screen if you start to read something and don't care to read any further.

Anyone who would insult such a sweet Kitty deserves to be blocked and should have to spend the rest of their life in shame.

You can't do it. The block filter only goes to 200 names.
