Why black people?

Why is it that many people have nothing good to say about black people? Why do people sit around all day and come up with names to shame and humiliate black people? What we ever do to them? Wish they would just let be. I mean if you have to beat down other people to feel some what superior than you must feel really low in the inside! People if you have issues with yourself don't try and make it our problem!

Not all people do this. The ones who do it, do it out of fear, ignorance, hatred and God only knows what else.

I grew up in Illinois. The city I lived in we had what we called were "neggars" and we had what we called "blacks". What was the difference? Attitude.

The blacks were good people, they lived honorable lives, worked hard to support their families and did not expect hand outs just because they were black.

On the other hand, the neggars were exactly the opposite. They had the unbelieveable gall to expect hand outs because their GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT granddaddy was a slave. Not only were they dishonoring the suffering of their ancestors, but they were dishonoring their entire race. Truth be told, they were just plain lazy. BTW...we had white neggars too. Lazy, on welfare, and an attitude of entitlement.

There are many smart, well educated, average American blacks who are very very good people. Some of them are very funny too. Some are extremely intelligent. Some are very kind. Some are very generious. Some live very moral lives. Some are very good cooks. Gee that could apply to any race, now couldn't it?

Stereotyping any group is wrong. Judge people based upon their individual character and actions. I could care less what color you are, what religion you are, what your politics are and whom you sleep with (as long as they are an adult), just be a good person.

Nunu...because *they* get their ideas and opinions from TV instead of taking the time to actually get to KNOW you. It is their ignorance. Just as long as YOU know who you are and the people in your daily life respect you - that is all that matters. Otherwise, prepare to expect the worst from some of these people or you will fall for anything and suddenly be convinced that you are what they *think* of you.

Some will mistake that as being arrogant or superior, but the way I see it... do you really have a choice? Good luck.

People of all races do this and have done so for as long as there were differences to distinguish and discriminate against.
And you are correct - humans do it to others in order to elevate themselves.

By the way - it isn't ALWAYS other races putting down black people.
Many times, blacks put each other down.
Spike Lee brought up the subject of black-on-black prejudice in his excellent film "School Daze".
That movie opened up dialogue into why some blacks try to hold others back.

You shouldn't take this lying down, instead of complaining do something about it. take them to court, I'm sure they will neever say it again. My best friends are all black, I've gotten in so many fights with white people because I hate prejudiced a holes. It just means that these people who are saying prejudiced comments are uneducated and should sit in a corner and either change their ways( which is hard for ignorant people to do) or just die.

As a black man, I understand how a people can be brainwashed into hurting others, all races have been brainwashed to reject their origins...All races came from black people, it is scientifically proved, but the worldly governments hate this truth, all races came from God, but still, the worldly governments teach racial separation... as we speak, Mother Nature is cleaning up and setting strait ALL whom loves evil.

I think you said that very well. Generally, when people talk poorly about other people, it's as you said: to make themselves look better by comparison.

One thing I do have to say about black people with regards to other black people is that they put themselves down a lot too. You'll see in movies and songs and in real life how black people will call other black people with the n-word. So it seems sometimes that even if black people strive hard to achieve and do well, others will just do things to tear that down.

My own opinion about black people? They are no different than anyone else. To me, we are all here, trying to make some sort of life for ourselves, but sometimes forget there are other people around us with feelings, hopes, and dreams too.

People react based on past experience and preconceived notions. If it is past experience, then people need to restrict their anger towards those who harmed them, instead of having an overall anger. If it is preconceived notions then they need to re-evaluate their thinking and treat each person they meet - regardless of age, gender, ethnicity - on a one-to-one basis.

Who cares what people say or think? You should realize they're diots to group millions and millions of people together with generalized statements. It fails logically.
