I certianly do, but in all honestly - I cannot give a clear definitive answer as to why. I think the religous indoctrination of childern keeps soceity as whole superstitious. I also feel it`s time for the world to shake out the cognitive cob webs of mythological ancient folklore, and to explore free thought.
Yet I don`t deem these reasons to be satisfactory when it comes to the question - of why I take a form of protest against the relgious establishment.

Do you really imagine I *don't* have direct spiritual experiences with Freyr, Odhinn, and Thor?

Are you so arrogant as to think my practice of the ancient ways does NOT improve my life?

Why else would I be doing this? Rebellion? Puh-leeese.

I've been both, you know, and several other religions besides. While heathenry and xianity incorporate vastly different ideas about what religion is and what deity does---we don't have a cosmic Santa Claus and don't need redemption---your constant assertions that what I believe "isn't real" are ridiculous.

Why is it so hard for you to understand how real the Old Ways and Elder Godhs really are?

When listing donors in an annual report, do you list them by amount given or by pledged amount. In other words, if someone gave $1,000 this year and pledged to do it for four more years, do you list them in the $1,000 or $5,000 category. if all ur gunna do is recomend me to a doctor then dont even bother. but is there a cure? im not talking silver (which burns like hell) or wolvesbane(which is deadly) but my friend... ehhem.. needs a cure. When God created Man, He said let us make man in OUR image...

In Corinthians it talks about other gods in Heaven and on Earth

Psalms 86 is a prayer by David...and in verse 8 he mentions other gods...

Now...here is the catch. There is only 1 God, the Father almighty, the creator of Heavens and the Earth, the one and only Living God....but even He talks to other gods...so why shouldn't believe in them?

In the bible it just says "I am the Lord, thy God" "Put no other gods before me" It doesn't say "I am the only god, others aren't real"....does it?

I was asked why don't I believe in gods from other religions, and I will know why atheists don't believe in God...

But the thing is, I do believe in Gods from other religions...do I believe they were the god of love, the god of war, the god of the sun and moon? No...not nescessarily, but I do believe there are other gods...

So who ever said Christians can't believe in multiple gods? We can believe, but we shouldn't worship.

ok.....so i am 15 .
i am bisexual...

parents are catholic.but they arent that religious i think.
umm..
i dont know anyone else in my family who is gay or anything...
ok the thing is how do i tell my parents i also like girls?
if i get a girlfriend...am i suppose to hide her?i think that wouldnt be nice...

Jesus is the only true living God! you can believe it or not. but it will not change the fact that Jesus is real and our God! Jesus is no fairy tale. He is no fantasy or made up!
