Using forced prison labor to do manufacturing work is a way to keep your overhead low, but of course there are morale issues which lead to quality issues. This was bound to happen, I'm surprised it took this long.

How about as soon as you pull all your American companies out of there? Almost every big American company has their factories in China now, if China choose to stop doing business with the US, booted out all the American companies, and pulled ALL its financial investments out of the US you would sink like a rock - maybe they should given how bigoted Americans seem to be.
All this stuff about forced labour and child labour is so much B--- I have lived in China for several years. Stop believing the media hype and go see for yourself, educate yourself before you form opinions, and the opinions you form should be your own, based on personal experience and research
Why would the Chinese peope have any love for the US exactly? Because you are so kind and informed and accepting of other countries, and believe other countries also have value?

Your country wants to buy cheap products and cheap products are the trash you get. The Chinese keep the good stuff for themselves and their trash for other countries. They dont want to waste their money you know how Chinese are they must make profit in everything.
It is not only USA who is buying Chinese products there are other European countries like UK are buying Chinese products.
