my boyfriend is in the army and im worried about him going to war. i feel bad for wanting to pray now that he is in the army i should have prayed before then. its hard to stay positve i don't have a gut feeling that he's going to die, it's just hard to think he'll come back alive when everyday i see a solider that has been killed. i know i should stop watching the news but i watch like an idiot to see if the bad guys have given up, that way he wont have to go. so what prayers should i pray for him and everyone else who is at war.

my stepdad says that it doesn't say homosexuality is a sin in the bible....and then he says even if it did it wouldnt matter because the bible was inspired by god but written through man and man is a uclean vessel so you can't believe everything its says.....what do you all say?....Please excercise maturity

What is sin? What is your definition of sin? Not what is told to you by others and certainly not the Bible’s definition. But what do YOU define as sin? What are your sins? Is it something that you do not agree with? Is it something you fear of becoming? Is it just your fear? Or is it just a projection of our fears?

Who are you to tell me that I am sin? Or that I have sinned? What qualifications do you over me have other than the Bible or the "moral majority?" Why should I subscribe to your definitions of sin? By asking these questions, is it sin? Is sin knowledge or the lack thereof? Is sin about understanding or the lack thereof? Is forgiveness our greatest sin of all?

Look at our definitions sin and maybe we all can learn something new. So now, tell me, what is sin?

My husband has been told by some other Muslim men that he's praying wrong. Actually, it's just one Muslim man and he's not trustworthy. I kept telling him that he's doing it right but he'd like further advice from others. So, Muslims, can you please say exactly what to say in Arabic and how many Rakats for each prayer? My step sister told me it's "2, 4, 4, 3, 4". So please, help me out here. I may be knowledgable, but I'm no scholar.

Non-asians you may not notice it that well, but asian people loves to talk about other people. Gossips. And yeah the guys gossip, girls even more. Talk bad about other people, and thus make your own face looks brighter (when you see asians hangin out for hours in tea houses they probably talk gossip)

Why is this? Non-asians do you find this thing annoying to you? I know many asians told me that they are really tired of this thing to the point that they dont want to mingle with their own groups anymore.

I am asian and I like my culture but if there is one part of it I really want to crush is this tendency to mess with people's business.

Any opinions? asians and non-asians?

Whats your take on christians and other people who are ignorant of your religion when they say things like the following..

"Pagans and or wiccans are devil worshipers"

"its a mythological religion"

" they are possesed by the devil"
