Ok, after asking my last couple of questions, I'm beginning to have a better understanding of why some people would accuse Christians of being brainwashed. Some of these people scare me...:p

it hasn't happened to me that much since I've been an adult, but imagine people like this in real life finding out you're an atheist.

I'm not sure if brainwashed is the correct term. Maybe blinded. They are very zealous but not according to accurate knowledge. Sort of like the people who participated in the Inquisition or Senator McCarthy.
