I guess they'd know his name if he was popular at the bar. Norm was the only one who's name was ever yelled out. Not Diane, Sam, Carla, Coach, etc. Norm probably came with the bar. There are enough people yelling out "Jesus" for all of the wrong reasons, why must you have him in a bar???

no no, nobodys name was yelled out, just their nicknames. Norman came in and everyone yelled NORM. Cliff was Cliffy. Jesus would hear like "J" or something like "Jeeeez!" or maybe everone would yell "Savior!" Then Jesus would say "Gimmie a beer Sammy" He would look at Carla and say something about needing saved....
