studies show that a child molester can never be reformed, and that no matter what they do they will always have the urges they do, so that to me implies they are born that way, but even so its still completely wrong, thats why i was wondering if homosexuals sympathized with them

To me, this question implies that you are bored, and have nothing better to do!
These two things are completely unrelated!
Homosexuals have no choice,except to be who they are, and live as who they are!
Child molesters are, as I can tell you from experience, are totally selfish individuals, who care for nothing, (especially their victims) except their own pleasure! Although, how anyone can gain pleasure from molesting a child, I can not understand! What is attractive about a child?
They, as selfish as they are, can be shown, and taught the error of their way, through therapy, and counseling! Drastic therapy! But they can be reformed!
Now, a pedophile is unable to control his actions! They are the ones who should be locked away from society, especially children, forever! They will continue until they are caught, and locked up! They can not be reformed!
Homosexuallity, has nothing to do, with either one!
Get a dictionary, and look up the words!

First of all you can't just say "studies show..." Which studies, done by whom, and when?
Second of all, if it is in fact true that a child molester can never be reformed, it does not follow that they were born that way. It's like saying a man who has no arm will never be able to grow one so he must have been born that way. It's fallacious logic.
All that those (purported) studies would be evidence for is that molesters can't be reformed.

I think that is being unfair to gay people. Just cause someone is gay and you think it is wrong doesn't mean they sympathize with child molesters. Homosexuality has nothing to do with Child molesting. I think this would be offensive to many people on this site

I don't think that child molesters are born that way, they could have been traumatized or abused as a child. I do believe that homosexuals are born liking the same sex though...it truly depends on the individual.

I, as a lesbian who believes she had "the lean"(see Kinsey report) to homosexuality but was pushed to the far side of lesbianism by many factors, including incest, molestation, absentee father & rape, have no sympathy for an adult who would exert their sick need for power over a child... if they were born that way or if they were driven there by circumstances or if they chose to do it, it is still sex & therefore power over a minor child. It is WRONG & no I don't sympathize, rather, I believe we should EUTHANIZE!!! not sterilize!!!

do you sympathize with them? you are born a heterosexual i imagine. you were born that way, so do you sympathize with a child molester? probably not. what does homosexuality have to do with child molestation? that's a pretty ignorant question. people don't sympathize with child molesters just because they are homosexual. child molestation is rape. not to mention the fact that most child molesters are straight.

Your main question asks one question, but your details ask another.
Do homosexuals sympathize with child molesters? No. Molesting a child is absolutely wrong.
Do homosexuals sympathize with pedophiles? Some do. I don't think that pedophile should be locked up for being attracted to children—he can hardly help it. I -do- think he should be locked up if he cannot exercise the self-control to refrain from molesting children.
If you get mad at someone and think about how satisfying it would be to kill them, should you be locked up? Nope. But if you were to act on that desire and actually kill someone, it's off to jail with you.
Don't hate pedophiles. Pity them. It must suck a lot.

I should hope not.....I don't think people were born gay...this is their sexual preference and just because they are gay doesn't mean they could feel sorry for someone that is sick in the head and does those things to a child...they should get those people some mental health and some have to be put away because they can't stop
