when you are sleeping, do you think of god?why or why not?

I sometimes meditate in my sleep (I wake up already meditating). And to me, that is sort of thinking about God in my sleep, as I am looking to sink into a fundamental source of ... well, everything.

I wouldn't say while I am sleeping but of course when I wake I am happy because god has blessed me to live through the night when I am sleeping and most vunerable....and so many people died at that exact same moment I was sleeping.....

I consider myself strong spiritually but avoid organized religion. I have had vivid dreams occasionally that I am talking with God and he always gives me good advise. This could just be my own subconscience projections of what I think is right or something more. God appears to me as a male wiseman type. He has advised me against false people and bad decisions. On several occasions he said "It's not what you believe, but that you believe".

Although the brain is still active during sleep, this is called 'dreaming', not thinking. Some people can remember those dreams, but it's purely an unconcious thing so whatever you dream about, it don't mean nuffink!!

I sleep when I am sleeping. Most people don't think of anything when they are sleeping, at least not consciously.

um....i am a catholic but i dont know what i am thinking when i am sleeping
