christians in the middle east?
Yah we have christians in the middle east, Christianity was born here and Moses, Abraham, jesus all lived here so we still exist in Afghanistan,Iraq,Iran, e.t.c but the #s are small and its dangerous. I was born in America but i've only been to an American church about 2 times, I've only been to our orthodox afghan churches here so I dont know what other Americans think or know about us christians in the middle east. I assume most christian conservatives are pro war and so are most Christian afghans that I know.

The Angelic Guards punish them. They are the watchers & law keepers of Guardian Angels. They exist within the spiritual realm but their eyes can see what happens in all 3 realms: Earth, Spiritual, & the void. Keep in mind that Guardian Angels can't comprehend the overwhelming instability of human emotions and senses on earth. How do you think Guardian Angels are punished for doing wrong? This is not in the Bible, but it is fact, if you know and evaluate & investigate Bibical Theology.

I was wondering if anyone here is a Unitarian Universalist or has at least heard of Unitarian Universalism? I am a UU, and it is sometimes hard to find others who are also UUs.

‘There is no such thing as a ‘holy’ war. There never was and there never will be. I have given no one the right to kill (or murder, as you neo-coms have mis-translated it) in My Name or in Anybody’s Name. Is this clear enough?’

I crunched all the numbers from the cumorah project, and came up with a total of 32.7% of the church members that are active. (data from 2006) This makes a grand total of 4,039,096 active members. Does that sound about right?

If anyone is interested, I do have a spreadsheet with all the numbers, and it took quite some time to compile all the data. Just tell me and I can hook you up with the data. I tried to be as accurate as possible.

Please consider these quotes from the Watchtower Magazine that verify what I am saying:

"All who want to understand the Bible should appreciate that the "greatly diversified wisdom of God" can become known only through Jehovah's channel of communication, the faithful and discreet slave." (The Watchtower; 10/1/1994; p. 8.)

"Thus the Bible is an organizational book and belongs to the Christian congregation as an organization, not to individuals, regardless of how sincerely they may believe that they can interpret the Bible." The Watchtower, Oct. 1, 1967. p. 587.

In short, you are led by what the Watchtower says the Bible says. But if the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society is from God, then...

Why has it made false prophecies?
Why has it altered the translation of the Bible?
Why does the Watchtower say you will fall into apostasy if you read the Bible without the Watchtower?
Why are you not allowed to examine your own organization and its problems?
Why does it tell you what to think and do?

Thats kinda how I feel nowadays... with so many factions fighting with eachother and taking things to the extreme. Thats what happens when people have too much power in religion. Who agrees?

What do you "really"believe concerning death?Do you think that's it, we just live for a short time and then die, or do you think it is possible that we could continue to live in another form of existence,or something else? I "really" do want to know.Thanks.

It's well known that he "had to have concrete proof" Jesus was resurected by feeling the wounds and such before he would believe. It's, then, fair to say,if he were born any other time he would have been an atheist. The question, then, is why was proof given to him and not, say, skeptics of today? Thomas supposedly saw Jesus perform numerous miracules too and was still skeptical of Jesus. So how is it fair that he got special treatment? The same could be said of Paul.

Ok so I'm unsure if my eye contact with others is appropriate or not. I usually hold eye contact with people for 2 to 4 seconds when talking to them followed by a 1 to 3 second break in eye vontact. When I listen to others I maintain eye contact for 4 to 7 seconds followed by a 1 or 2 second break in eye contact(via nodding). So is my eye contact normal or is it in need of improvments?

I have to say one thing to all Christians, Muslums, Atheist, Wiccan, Pagans anr so forth...

How dare you criticize each other? Each one of you are thought to respect others, (except maybe atheist) stop putting people down for thier own beliefs.

Christians - stop telling people thier evil, for things like " I wanna have a halloween party"
Atheist - Stop throwing your depression of no god onto people who truly believe there is! And then spitting on them when they stand up to you!
Muslums - Stop forcing yourslef on being the only one right!
Pagans - Stop hating other people for being 'normal'.

this is absolutly ludicrus!!! I hate seeing all this comotion between religion.
It might sound stupid but can you all get a long??!!
I am Christian with Atheist - Daoist friends. God never tought me to disrespect other religion and i really feel horrible that everyone else thinks that it thier job to do so!
