I am not Christian, but I just wanted to add, that God doesn't require worship. However, OUR lives are blessed by His worship, so worship of God is a blessing in itself.

I love worshiping God. I adore Him, and Praise Him, and pray to Him. He is the Eternal parent of the Universe. It's just natural.

Doesn't it seem adolescent to mock God? And how does your Athiesm prove that there truly IS nothing after death? Perhaps one of your buddies has passed away and then came back and told you "Dude, there's nothing there. Stay alive as long as can." But then that would be impossible, because you probably don't believe in the supernatural, or "ghosts."

I tell every athiest this. Buy a piece of black cardboard. Frame it. Now stare at it and wonder "Is this what I have to look forward to?" Because to me, you are looking at what I would call "hell."

He doesn't require worship -- read the Bible.

Jesus was coming into Jerusalem and the crowd started to worship and praise Him. The disciples asked HIm if they should quiet the crowd, and Jesus answered, "If these should not cry out the very rocks of the ground would cry out."

God doesn't need our worship. We are privileged to know Him and worship is what He is worthy of more than anyone.

Humans worship one another -- put people up on pedestals and idolize them. In many areas - educators, artists, writers, singers, athletes, and so on. GOD IS GREATER THAN ALL THEM PUT TOGETHER WILL EVER BE.

It is your understanding that is juvenile and tainted by sin that you need to repent of. God will forgive your ignorance if you can humble yourself before Him. If not you will have to be humbled at the Judgment Seat of Christ. YOUR CALL!

God doesn't require worship, He seeks it. It's up to each person to decide whether or not to worship Him. As far as it being adolescent goes, you would have to get past adolescence to answer that. And since you asked, it implies that you haven't yet. Peace.

God does not require anything. People were given free-will by God. Worship is a natural reaction to the realization of God's beauty, love, grace, mercy, and ultimate truth and wisdom. I am thankful and worshipful to God because he gave us Jesus.

He is God and he has given us life. The fact that God gives us a choice in the matter proves it is not adolescent. We have a choice to worship God if we want to or not in which I choose yes because he is great and has done many great things in my life for which I am so thankful.

Because he is our creator and he is worthy of all worship and praise. And because we want too. What seems adolescent is someone who thinks he is above God and believes he deserves nothing from you.

i think alot depends on how one defines "worship" I can't speak for anyone else, but my God requires justice, love, kindness and humility as opposed to pride; (and patience sometimes too) that's all really not that bad, so even if you don't believe in God, the world would be a much better place for everyone if there were more of these good things ...

"what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?" - Micah 6:8.

Our God doesn't require worship, we do it because He is worthy of all worship & praise. you spelled God with a capital G was that out of honor or was it a mistake. It is satan that requires worship he even tried to get Jesus to worship him.
