from people's backyards and front yards.

Should I write a letter to each innocent person that I witnessed things being stolen from a letter of where this neighbor lives and what was taken from them. They do this often and it's happened to me. They have no shame. Your suggestions please.

They knew nothing about the rest of world then. Take for instance the US, they didn't know this land existed. To them, thier world was flooded. So hence the reason the bible was written to say the whole world was flooded. Is it right to question this? Has anyone ever really thought of it this way?

I've seen people ask for advice about medical conditions, divorce, bankruptcy and marriage. One person even wanted to know what to name her twins! These people need to seek professional advice, not ask a bunch of yahoos on yahoo. Would you ask for help on a personal, life-changing decision on this forum?

Our DNA and the DNA of all other living organisms is in the form of a code or language, is it not? Do languages spontaneously develop, or do they always have intent and an idea to communicate from some source behind them?

This in not religious spam, it a scientific look at information systems theory as relates to pattern vs. design in language. It is a lot to read, so I broke it down in my question, but it is well worth reading for anyone interested in evolution, from any viewpoint.

Please, I'm not looking for dogmatic answers of any persuasion, but a thoughtful response to a challenging question.

I'm just curious to see how many people believe in it. In my country, there's people like that (witch doctors) and when I went to the mountains and I was trespassing across a forest with my family while I was on a trip, finger prints started going all over my body after the hike. Our maid had to do some kind of (how should I say this) preparation. You do it when a dwarf does something to you. After that, I was healed. I kinda remember how to process goes, but I don't think i'm going to do it because it's unnecessary. And then there's other stories of such things. Do you believe in that? I also heard that a distant family member of ours knows one kind of healing enchantment in which she writes something on a piece of paper and does something with it to cure canker sores faster. I'm kinda curious to what it is...I get curious on many things since I love to learn. Back to the question, do you guys believe in such things?

Are you realy so week minded and pathetic that if you did have some abscure beliefe to define your exsistance or personality your life would be with out meening or or comonality? Why don't you understand that there are other religoius posibilities besides your own? There are houndreds of other alternative religions in the world. Can you truley be so arogent as to say that with an over 99% chance that your'e faith is wrongly justified, that your the less then 1% that is right? If that isn't bad enough you try to impose your "rules" via reilgius opresion based on "rules" made up from a beliefe that may or may not be right. It would be like me saying I belive chicken goes bad after two hours and making a rule that no one should eat chicken after an hour just cause I beleive to be so. If you consider your self religius then you have allready taken a BELIEF to far. Prove me wrong. I'm waiting.

I mean its not like anyone can just go over to the other side and then come back to tell us weither there is one or not. You can't prove he exists, but you can't prove he doesn't exist either.

"God created man. [...] men create God. That is the way it is in the world - men make gods and worship their creation. It would be fitting for the gods to worship men!"

Better yet can someone translate this for me:
Si alguna vez escogen a un James Bond latino, el mexicano Gael Garcia Bernal sería un buen candidato, como lo demuestra durante la flimación de la película El pasado en Uruguay.

I think I have it translated except for demuestra but if someone could translate it (to English) for me that would be great!

Or is it simply that they are too insecure within themselves to allow anyone other than themself to be God?

I think if they are hoenst they would admit to it being the second possibility.

How many of you creationists have actually formally learned about evolution. It does not say man descended from apes as that is what you all seem to say. You say the fossil record is incomplete, but do you really think that every single fossil is going to be found? Besides, DNA similarities make up for the holes in the fossil record. DNA similarities may not sound like a lot but if you had actually learned about DNA you would see how similar and how much evidence is derived from that. Finally, it is not based on the fact the humans and monkeys look alike. I have actually seen that a few times.
