If you are still capable of pursuing that dream physically and mentally whats holding you back?

Every summer I make up my mind that THIS year I am going white water rafting and up in an air balloon .. and when fall comes around, I havent done it.

Anyone else need a kick in the butt to get themselves moving on those unfinished dreams? What's yours?

I see questions like

I have known many Christians who suffer or have suffered from depression, so doesn't it depend on each individual person?

I know not all Christians think like this, this is just reponse to the people who wrote those question.

Hell being a place or fire and brimstone is flawed in its logic. When we pass from this life into the next we do so as spirit, We no longer have a body of flesh and therefore cannot feel physical pain ! at all . !
fire would would simply pass through with no ills . beating floggings et cetera would be pointless for we would not feel them in any way.
Hell is therefore spitirual pain which can only be pain of the mind /consciousness. it can therefore be every bit as painfull but only in affairs of the heart so to speak .
the reverse would therefor also be true for heaven.
and because reality is personal perception
your pain or pleasure is up to the individual to find.
what say you ?

Mark 16:17-18 A believer can handle snakes or drink poison and not experience any harm. (Note: Many unfortunate believers have died as a result of handling snakes and drinking poison).

This kind of assertion OBVIOUSLY negates the Bible as a useful guidebook for life.

Since you believe in the bible, HOW CAN YOU BELIEVE IN ALL THE ABSURDITIES IN IT ?
This is just one, let's do not mention talking snakes, donkeys, people swallowed by a whale and survive in the stomach (like pinocchio's story), Noah's ark, A WORLD FLOOD THAT NEVER TOOK PLACE , there are millions of absurdities .
WHY ARE YOU WILLING TO POISON YOUR MIND WITH SO MUCH NONSENSE?

A couple was celebrating their golden wedding anniversary on the beach

Montego Bay, Jamaica. Their domestic tranquility had long been the talk

the town. "What a peaceful & loving couple."

A local newspaper reporter was inquiring as to the
secret of their long & happy marriage. "Well, it dates back to our
honeymoon in America," explained the man. "We visited the Grand Canyon

Arizona & took a trip down to the bottom of the canyon by horse. We
hadn't gone too far when my wife's horse stumbled and she almost fell off. My
wife
looked down at the horse & quietly said, 'That's once.'"

"We proceeded a little further & the horse stumbled again, this time
causing her to drop her water. Once more my wife quietly said, 'That's
twice.' "

We hadn't gone a half-mile when the horse stumbled for
a 3rd time. My wife quietly removed a revolver from her purse & shot the
horse dead.

I shouted at her, "What's wrong with you, woman! Why
did you shoot the poor animal like that? Are you crazy??"

Don't you think it's better to throw in with Jesus, so that his dad doesn't burn you for all eternity in his fiery pond? Why would you take the risk of not accepting God's love? He does love you, after all - he'll only burn you if you refuse his advances! If that's not love, then I don't know what is!
