A couple was celebrating their golden wedding anniversary on the beach
in
Montego Bay, Jamaica. Their domestic tranquility had long been the talk
of
the town. "What a peaceful & loving couple."

A local newspaper reporter was inquiring as to the
secret of their long & happy marriage. "Well, it dates back to our
honeymoon in America," explained the man. "We visited the Grand Canyon
in
Arizona & took a trip down to the bottom of the canyon by horse. We
hadn't gone too far when my wife's horse stumbled and she almost fell off. My
wife
looked down at the horse & quietly said, 'That's once.'"

"We proceeded a little further & the horse stumbled again, this time
causing her to drop her water. Once more my wife quietly said, 'That's
twice.' "

We hadn't gone a half-mile when the horse stumbled for
a 3rd time. My wife quietly removed a revolver from her purse & shot the
horse dead.

I shouted at her, "What's wrong with you, woman! Why
did you shoot the poor animal like that? Are you crazy??"

LOL!

Jesus is the real secret to a happy marriage. My parents have a Christ centered marriage and next month will have been married 46 years. Happily Married! My dad still calls my mother, the love of his life.

Funny joke, but this is a question worth answering! If you fall out of love ... BEHAVE loving (love is not just a mushy feeling, it is ACTION!!!) ... and the feeling will return. Don't ever cheat...you'll regret it some day!!! The Bible says "Your sins will find you out"! The quality of a relationship is a function of the extent to which it is built on a solid underlying friendship, and meets the needs of the two people involved, unlike obsession. You get what you give. When you give better, you get better. Besides, giving grows your love! If you put your relationship in a win/lose situation, it will be a lose/lose situation. Forget whether you're right or wrong. The question is: Is what you're doing working or not working? There is no right or wrong way to fix a relationship. Find your own way that works. But recognize when it's not working and be honest when it needs fixing. Falling in love is not the same thing as being in love. Embrace the change and know that it takes work. You don't fix things by fixing your partner. Intimacy is so important because it is when we let someone else enter our private world. You don't necessarily solve problems. You learn how to manage them. Communicate. Make sure your sentences have verbs. Remember that only 7 percent of communication is verbal. Actions and non-verbal communication speak much louder. You teach people how to treat you. You can renegotiate the rules.

One of the most common questions spouses ask when confronting a marriage crisis is this: How can I save my marriage if my partner doesn't want to help find a solution? How do I succeed I am trying to save my marriage on my own? Learn here https://tr.im/DIfI6

It is a typical enough story: one partner leaves, the other stays. One remains 'in love', the other is uncertain. Whatever it is that has caused a couple to be apart, the one person who remains bears the prospect, fear, doubt, desire, hope of saving his or her marriage' alone.

OMG, that's crazy... and it just might work for some, lol. I prefer a more loving approach to marriage though... where I don't run the risk of being shot in the head with a revolver!!! Allah knows best!

Good joke. The keys to a happy marriage - and they aren't secret - are commitment, communication, and compromise. Of course, you have to start and end the days, the weeks, the months, and the years, with love.

Ooh. That's pretty good. I'll have to tell that to my husband. Maybe he'll help me with the dishes tomorrow!

Ah, the threat of violence to coerce love. Not just a theme in this marriage, is it?
