I know that most of us have heard stories about people having near death experiences. About tunnels and white lights, etc. I've been reading this book and it mentions a different side;
"There was a nurse who works in an emergency room tod me about a patient who had gone "code red"-flat lined. She and some other medical personell rushed over to the defibrillator to try to bring him back to life. They applied the paddles and revived him. She said the he started screaming and shouting, "The heat! The heat!" Then his heart stopped again. They brought him back a second time. He shouted "The flames! The flames!" They lost him again. Four times the man flat lined and was brought back, each time shouting about heat or flames. After the last time, he died and they couldn't bring him back. She said all the doctors and nurses stood there for a few minutes and stared at the body. They knew this man went to hell. He was screaming it to them before he even got out of here." -Continued-

" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me".- Jesus

" I am the resurrection and the life; he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live ; and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die". - Jesus (Jn. 11:25)

" Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)

" God is patient and longsuffering, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance".

God Bless You! And Happy Eternity!

Many Christians sing "Give me that old time religion." Obviously, very few of them have Jewish roots. Just what religion did their pagan ancestors have before they became Christians. Some of it has survived in the form of witchcraft, folktales, fairy tales, and secular holidays. Some of these reconstructed religions are not very authentic. What were they really like?

I had a dream, possibly a couple, but I'm not sure. I dreamed that I was praying in salat. Just praying. Over and over again. I don't have anything distressing or stressful going on in my life. I just had a birthday and the past few days including today have been extra wonderful. So what can this dream mean? At the end of the dream (possibly a second dream), I dream that I've just had a baby and am so happy. It would be my third if that really happened, but I'm not planning on anymore children yet. What could this dream mean?

How come people don't understand that it is totally ok to be muslim, that muslims have every right to be here, and that very very few muslims are terrorists?

Please, get a brain, people! It makes me ashamed to hear such unabashed hatred from my countrymen, when we are supposed to be all about diversity!

Now, my landlord put a strongly worded letter on my door, demanding that I pay my rent which "was due on the 10th day of August, 2007." And they are correct, my rent is due on the 10th.

Now, I never liked my landlord. They always seem kind of incompitent.

My question is, exactly how much sarcastic wit should I put into my response letter? Should I mention time travel and Einstein's Theory of Relativity, or should I "defer to their superior wisdom and judgment about the complexities of pre-emptive late fees."

What do you think?

CAN you be a Christian, without believing Jesus was the son of God. meaning he is NOT a supernatural being. To believe there is no GOD, but follow the teachings of Jesus. Sort of like... Buddihsm, for Christians. I would sure be a lot less annoied by you, if you thought that way.

I define alogically as without logic (motivated by some other thing than the search for truth, etc.)

Basically, would you rather someone think about something and sincerely take up a stance which you believe to be wrong, or agree with your current stance but be non-logical in its formation (brainwash, etc.)

I'm almost 18... and since I was about 9, I've off and on wondered "What if there is nothing when we die? What if we don't really have souls that live on? We if that's just... it." And it causes me to cry... and have mental breakdowns... I just flip out. And sometimes, I'm surprised I ever calm down with how bad it gets. So... how and why do you believe in an afterlife? FOR YOU. PERSONALLY. How and why? Have you had experiences with spirits? Near death experience? Out of body experience? Pure faith? Help me out...

I've been noticing a lot of race bashing on here, espcially towards african americans. I have an idea for people who are against this type of thinking, just ignore them. All they want is some attention, these people have zero intelligence and they are basically at the very bottom of society, this is there way of getting noticed. Don't even entertain them.
