Some people think they are Mr. or Ms. "know it all" it annoys me. No body is gona read the books they write. It is better to keep it brief and simple.

Edit: When you need something in detail and very authentic, I don't need to ask in this place. I need to search it by myself.
I wouldn't ask you sender and squirt ok.
this place is mostly to see other's people's opinions.

Share your opinion extensively. Probably just a lot of copy and paste going on from www.about.com anyway to answer people's q's. Mr. or Miss. "know it all" ha! tell me about it.

I love long answers. They're usually the most thoughrough and explain everything better than the others. Short answers can only go so far. A longer answer is far superior because they explain things in depth and analiyze a lot more than others do. I tend to give long answers, and love getting them back, as long as they aren't walls of text (Meaning they have breaks in them for a new paragraph).
Walls of text can get very annoying and be difficult to read or understand. That and when they don't spell well and type a whole thing in chatspeak. That's horrible. I like long ones that are easy to read and literate. They're fun and thourough. This isn't too long of an answer for this question, is it?
And why are you asking that in Spirituality. You're in the wrong section for this kind of question. This goes in another area, one which I don't know of. This isn't a question about spirituality or God or anything. It's about a Forum. Wrong area.

I don't mind the long answers and questions if the person knows how to write. If they have a great beginning couple of sentences that let you know that they know what they're talking about then yeah, I'll read the answers or questions. What's wrong with getting more information? Seriously, are the people on this site that easily distracted that they can't be bothered to read the good (possibly better) responses?

Sometimes long answers are needed to completely understand the question you're asking of course if they are right a long answer is reasonable if not, just read the beginning then if it seems wrong move on, simple. Some questions need to be long only to make the answerer fully aware of what they are asking in case it's difficult to understand. The end. ;]

Hey Johnny 86, You are absolutely right. You just keep on reading those simple answers and have a good life. After all, If you read a long answer you might even learn something. What a horrible thought.

A lot of people cut and paste without formulating their own thoughts... If you've got something long for me to read, send me the link.

Sometimes people ask questions that require a long answer.
But I do agree that its annoying when the long answers are completely unnecessary and don't even have to do with the original question.

If there is relevance to a question/answer which needs words for framing the point(s); yes long is good.
