No, you are making it a weapon against yourself.
All science does is try to factually explain the world/universe and its properties.

They're not, scientists are developing various theories for the reasons on why we're here that has nothing to do with faith or gods. So if science comes up with the Big Bang, that is not a crack against Christians, it is just doing what the Bible did, give us an explanation on how and why we're here, albeit without the higher meaning of life or the promises of the afterlife.

well there is no scientific evidence that the universe was created. that's a religious doctrine, you know - impossible to test empirically. the problem is that some christians say that since science cannot explain the origin of the universe (yet), then it must have been created. there is just no reason to accept this.

Is a wall a weapon? It may seem like one if you think that if you just have enough faith then you can run through it. As you are picking yourself up after trying to run through it to prove your faith, you might have several different responses:
1) The wall is a weapon.
2) My faith wasn't strong enough.
3) Maybe faith has nothing to do with the properties of a wall.
Which response is correct? Think about it.

Fair's fair, ya gotta admit . . . Christianity has been using religion as a weapon against science for centuries . . . obviously, the Catholic Church heads the list of offenders in this, but the Protestants haven't exactly been slackers either!

Another sign of the last days. People are searching for reasons why they are here because religion, Gods self proclaimed represenetives have given them nothing substantial to answer their questions concerning life and its purposes. Only control, dominance and war.
So its not against Christians its against all religion that they are attacking.

It is being used as logical argument. And given Christians history with real weapons when their beliefs are challenged I wouldn;'t throw any more stones if I were you.

Science is based on facts and imperical proofs. Religion is based on faith. Which is defined as believing in things with no imperical proof or factual support.

Patience, the grim reaper is busy trimming up at the edges, he will get to you soon enough.
Sweetness, no matter what the preachers tell you death is real. Everything dies at some time and the only cheat is to have kids.
Live hard, love hard, have kids and love them until you die.
