Block racist comments ?

I've been noticing a lot of race bashing on here, espcially towards african americans. I have an idea for people who are against this type of thinking, just ignore them. All they want is some attention, these people have zero intelligence and they are basically at the very bottom of society, this is there way of getting noticed. Don't even entertain them.

I take exception to your assertion that race bashing is ":especially" aimed at Africa-Americans, although I do agree that no "bashing" is productive. Have you not seen the numerous postings by "Ginger" who always puts whites down? There are others as well, or do you give them a pass and only notice the whites who do it? "Zero intelligence?" "Bottom of society?" Neither of those terms describe Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson, but my bet would be that you don't see them as racist. I do.

I completely agree with you and I always suggest the same thing when I happen to be on a message board and someone (black, white, or whatever) states something racist. Unfortunately it seems that people can't help themselve and respond anyway, which gives these idiots the attention that they are craving. JUST IGNORE THEM! That's the worst thing you can do to someone who is so pathetic that they will write anything to get attention.

i think alot of people are too sensitive, it's a touchy subject i suppose, but every race is "bashed" at some point or another, it'll probably be awhile before we as a society can accept it and be comfortable talking about each other's differences but because of those few that make a big deal outta the smallest thing, the process is delayed that much more..but really, what can we do.

Yes, there are so many people who probably act so sweet to people of all races in their daily lives, but then they come on Yahoo!Answers under an anonymous screen name, and suddenly, their true colors show. They call it "fun".

I try to report them and move on, but I must admit that it's the people who are NOT trolls who still make nasty comments that I just can't take. I don't come here for that...

It doesn't matter because these people come back with different usernames once or twice a day. But usually, if I see a racist question or comment, I immediately block the person.

I notice the whites who use racism are deleted more than the blacks who spew out racist venom, because of the double standard that is destroying America and all the democratic societies

Well, yes, they want attention but what's worse is that Yahoo allows so much of it and they won't remove it. What does that tell you about the ethnicity of the Yahoo staff?

You cannot always ignore because it's right there in your face and this forum is a public accommodations public place of service and business, therefore it is governed by both civil rights and public accommodations federal and statutory laws.

Yahoo violates them constantly as well as the racist trash, and you should never get used to hate as it is spewed ANYWHERE because when you do, you give these low-life scumbags the green light to discriminate against not only you, but your children and other innocent victims.

I hate them quite frankly and when I learn of a death of one of them I rejoice.
