My problems seems to be that my dreams are ongoing. I get one accomplished and another one has popped up.
My current one is my book. I've wanted to do one for years and I'm finally getting that one accomplished. It's going to take me quite a bit more time, even though I have a good portion of it done, but research takes time. In order to make it believeable, I have to experience some of it (get the picture, I have to EXPERIENCE IT). I'm having a ball doing all sorts of things, a little at a time.
Because I have lived my life in this fashion, I have experienced more than most of my friends, and it's been a real learning curve.

I'd like to get a motorcaravan and travel, the main thing that's stopping me is money (what else). There was fear of travelling alone and wondering if it's sensible at my age, but I've found a way round that one. If the world runs out of fuel before I can afford the motor, I'll have to get a horse-drawn caravan, now that could be a fun challenge! Just in case anyone's wondering, I mean travel as in holiday, not to become a permanent 'traveller'.
In the meantime, I keep planning to do some day trips, visiting places of interest, even get as far as getting the brochures, but somehow never get round to booking the seat on the coach. I'll try again next year.

Anyone who answers this question with a "No" has either set their dreams on a very low scale or is a liar! I wanted to sail around the world on my own craft, but after sailing for many years in the Caribbean, dropped that idea. I wanted to see the USA ... but came to the conclusion that would take a lifetime, and I don't have another one on tap. Not to sound uppity, but if I look at what I have done compared to what I wanted to do, I come out, by far, the winner. So many times, when given the choice of what I thought I wanted to do and what I ended up doing, were I to have it to do again, I would not change the course. OF all the things I wanted to do and still want to do is see England's country side. Maybe one day, maybe not.

Absolutely!! Unfortunately, like a lot of seniors, I have no more money for such things, but a lot of time.
I feel very grateful, that I still am in good health, and hopefully, enough time left on this earth, to come into some money, from somewhere, that will enable me to fulfill my destiny.
One of my dreams has always been to play Texas Hold-um, in Vegas with some of the "Big Dogs".

This 'answer' is for 'felines' and anyone who wants to create music - go to bbc.co.uk, and search for the section that allows you to create music.
You don't need to know music notes - it has the piano keys, and you click out the tune - you can hear it if you switch on your pc speakers - you want to compose. The site then records this, and you click again and it tells you if it is a good composition, and some comments as well. You can also save the tune you composed onto your pc.
So you see, felines, you can enjoy playing, and composing music after all in this age of internet, and do what you have always wanted to do. Go for it!

I always wanted to create music. I love music. I keep the CD player in my car on the whole while I'm in it alone. Sometimes, when my husband's in the car, he'll play it for me, but usually it's silent so we can talk.
All of my siblings can at least play piano and read music. I was given the opportunity to learn to play the piano, but after two weeks, the teacher told my mother it was wasting his time and her money, and please not to bring me back.
This was because I wanted to see that my fingers were touching the right keys. He even put cardboard atop my hands to prevent me from seeing.
Funny thing, I type by touch, and was frequently called on at work to take dictation over the phone because I'm so good at typing, but I couldn't play the piano without looking at the keys.
I really regret never learning to read music and play, but we have no instrument and really can't afford it with middle-aged progeny and grandkids to support.
I have/had an autoharp, but it is now warped and no longer makes music for me.

I am determined to ride cross-country on a train and sleep in a sleeping berth. Even if I only make it half-way, I really want to do this.
I can't at this time, as life takes on a form of its own and spoils your plans sometimes, but before trains become extinct and I am to old, I am going to do my level best to make it happen! Seize the day I always say. Got the money but not the time. Bummer
THE IS - we ought to hook up Lol

It's probably a question of money, why I haven't done it , but I'd like to have travelled all through europe and scandinavia, asia and australia and tasmania . I've done south africa , and most of north america. Maybe Michu Pichu too. I think most of it will have to be left to national geographic specials, however before I die I'd like to go down east to the Atlantic provinces. That may be obtainable , one day.
