Smiling Sam - they say that but Islam has no person claiming it, nor christianity, nor any other religion they belong to The Lord and he protects them not us... so no idea why they say that other than the devil bothering them and making them say that, any act of terror is not Islamic or christian or Jewish or Buda or whatever its just not!

Undecided I agree the leaders are in terrible error... but that don't mean they are religious even though they are in that position.... they are tried like anyone else in the end!
The people at the bottom are usually the ones suffering from all this... and the mass public looking on with blind eyes and just taking on hearsay without giving themselves the opportunity to learn they just take the word of their neibhbour or some media...*boot theres that word again nabor you know it should be spelled like that ololoo* yallah Salam

Right. There are terrorists from all different religious backgrounds. There have been terrorist activities within the United States performed by Americans that were not Muslims. Does anyone remember the Oklahoma City Bombing?

However, terrible acts have been done in the name of religion. Individuals and groups can use their own religion to justify their actions. The Crusades are an example of this. The Inquisition was also very terrible.

Uh, no. Ask any of the terrorists blowing up women, men, and children today and they will tell you EXACTLY what their religion is and the name of the god they are murdering for.

And yes, they actually do believe they are going to heaven and will have 72 virgins upon arrival. They are taught this from the time they are old enough to understand language. It is taught in the very schoolbooks of Arab children from nursery school onwards.

If you think they are kidding, you'd better have another look.

It used to be Christianity, which for a couple thousand years was the world-wide terrorist, bringing destruction, death, forced conversions, subjugations, burnings at the stakes, torture. and terror to people all over the world as they invaded everywhere and took over by the sword.

Now, however, it is the Muslims. Indeed. And for Christians, karma must be a real drag, because the stated goal of these Muslims (who are NO LONGER A FRINGE ELEMENT, BUT MAINSTREAM NOW), is to do just exactly what Christianity had at one time as a goal, and did accomplish - that being to spread worldwide and obtain power over the entire world.

And they are doing a pretty fine job of it now. Europe has become Eurabia, Canada is very well infiltrated, as well as Australia, the US isn't far behind, Mexico as well. Much of Asia has been taken over and is Islamic, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, etc.

Religion is just a vehicle/tool for terrorism. It is a means to manipulate the masses into doing whatever their religious leaders want them to do.

Religions have risen to power and maintained power through terrorism throughout history.

I'm not sure what you're saying. You *could* be refuting the idea that terrorists are primarily Muslims, and I'd agree. Terrorism is older than Islam, so it's silly to imagine Muslims invented it. You could also be asserting that terrorists cannot possibly be genuinely spiritual, due to the violence they perpetrate on the world, and I'd have to agree with that, too. SO - regardless of what you're saying, I agree.

Yes, I agree. But why are so many acts of terrorism committed in the name of Islam?

I 100% agree. They try to say that their God told them to do it. But I KNOW their lying. No God I know of is that cold-hearted. As an American watching United 93 and seeing the news on 9/11 hurt everyone who had a heart.

Religion is terrorism. Furthermore, almost all terrorists on the face of the earth are so for the purposes of religion.

Terrorists, fanatics are not of any religion.

Abdu'l-Bahá says: 'If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.' (Compilations, Bahiyyih Khanum, p. 202)

Let there be unity, peace and love among all humans.

A terrorist is someone who perpetrates an act to invoke fear in others. Religion has nothing to do with the definition. A dictionary could tell you that.
Extremists in the Islamic faith are what, I believe, you are trying to refer to. I happen to believe that death brings revelation. ....not sure there's an actual question here. Hope my comments were ellucidating a bit. ;)

True.
People are the terrorist not the religions.
